Alejandro Gabriel Gentile was born in Ireland to foreign parents on December 25, 2001 as the only child of "a household of extreme depravity and domestic violence", with his parents engaging in a sadomasochistic relationship. His father abused his mother physically, emotionally and sexually, prevented the mother from breastfeeding and holding Alejandro when he was a baby, and taught the boy to abuse his mother as well while he still was a little child.
The then 15-year-old Barbie was described on his Tavistock assessment as "on the verge of an offensive attack at all times", "present[ing] a high level of risk to those around her" and "controlling, callous and unemotional", using manipulation, emotional blackmail, sexual violence, mental stalking and physical pinning down of others "to project the fear of violation into another".
When interviewed by the Gardai, Barbie stated that hearing the woman screaming and crying for her life was "music to her ears", expressed disappointment at not killing the woman (who had to be hospitalized) and said he was "gleeful about what happened". In that same day, Barbie told a psychiatrist that he had plans of murdering care workers.
Following this assault, he was detained in a children detention campus. He made repeated threats of self-harm and suicide to "end the emotional pain" of "not being recognized as a woman". He was psychologically assessed to not be at risk of self-harming, but rather using threats of doing so as manipulation, to be unlikely to change his behaviors and as an evident danger to others.

- In 2009, his mother fled the family home, taking the 8-year-old boy with her. First they moved to a women's refuge but he scared the staff with how violent he was against his mother.
- In 2012, the then 10-year-old Barbie attacked his mother violently enough to be separated from her and placed into foster care. He didn't last long there due to his aggressive behavior. He was repeatedly moved from different care home placements because of his escalating violent behavior. He shared with an aftercare manager his plan to run away, obtain his mother's new address and kill her.
- In 2014, Barbie dropped out of school.
- In July 2015, he attacked a staff member in a foster care home, displaying sexually aggressive behavior for the first time, at least according to the reports (until then he was violent, but not in a sexual way).
- In December, 2015 he had begun to wear make-up, identify himself as a female and expressed desire to undergo sex reassignment surgery. Coincidentally (or not) it was the same year he shared a house with a tranny.
- In 2017, then was sent to the Tavistock, UK's only clinic for children with gender dysphoria. The clinic has been mired in controversy recently, with staff members (or ex-staff members) whistleblowing about children being transed because they’re either autistic, gay or sexual abuse victims.

- On May 1, 2018, at 16 years old, Barbie attempted to kill a social worker by trying to gouge out her eyes. He wrapped himself around the woman's body, tore clumps of hair out of her scalp and clawed at her face, tearing her eyelids, all while screaming "I am going to kill you".

During the psychological evaluations that preceded this new placement, Barbie revelead "feeling cheated" from not knowing the bodily harm he caused to the social worker. He also stated his wish to cut off his penis and that his long-term ambition was to move to Los Angeles to become a prostitute and porn actress (of course).
- In 2019, as he approached his 18th birthday (when he could simply decide to leave state care), the Gardai Public Protection Unit was briefed on him. The High Court was told he had made no progress on any front, that he had "a continuing wish to murder and rape" that was "a source of pleasure" to him. Yet, the High Court ruled there was no legal basis to continue his detention.
- On September 7, 2020, a nationwide bulletin was issued to garda stations regarding a "homicidal teenager". However, the Irish public was informed not about a man in drag or a transwoman, but a teenage girl on the loose being a "grave risk" for women. His mother was instructed by the gardai to flee her home for her own safety.
- On the 24th of Setember, 2020, he was arrested for threatening to kill his mother again. He has now been remanded in custody in the women’s section of Limerick prison and charged. He admitted to be "anxious" to be jailed with women. A file is currently being prepared by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
