9News is definitely fucked. They hired the guy, so they're on the hook, and Doloff's hobby farm definitely isn't going to cover a $10+ million settlement.
Pinkerton's case is interesting. If Doloff was actually contracted through Pinkerton despite not being legally qualified for security work in Denver, 9News could then turn around and blame Pinkerton for providing them with a blatantly unqualified security guard. On the other hand, if he wasn't actually contracted through Pinkerton, Pinkerton could go after 9News for a defamation claim, as their reputation was damaged by being associated with this dumbass.
Then again, it could also be Doloff's fault - say for example if he was in fact hired through Pinkerton, but with the understanding that he wasn't legally allowed to do security work in Colorado cities that have additional training requirements. Or it could be the producer's fault, if he represented to his employer that Doloff was actually qualified security when he really wasn't.
The interesting bit will be seeing how liability and damages will be distributed. From a quick bit of googling Colorado appears to use comparative fault rather than joint and several liability, so the victim's family will likely push for parties with more assets to take a greater share of the blame.
TL;DR - Everyone's getting sued, lawyers will make bank, and all the parties involved will probably try to point fingers at each other.
