I would think this is just to show his supporters that he's healthy and reassure them he's still high energy as the elections draw closer. Presents a marked difference from the odd times that Biden shows himself in public where he looks like he's about to fall asleep. It also makes him a bit more personable to the people watching in a more natural way than anytime the dems try to do the same thing (i.e. every time they sent Hillary onto Ellen to dab and Nae Nae or make Pokemon Go references)

Actually, when the Spanish conquered the Mayas, they mostly used Spanish soldiers (from what I can tell). The Aztecs were busy getting Christianized and raped civilized.

You see a lot of later battles containing more Spanish troops because it took almost two centuries to full take over the Yucatan, and by then the Aztecs had been pretty well depleted as a people due to repeated epidemics and abuses by both spaniards and their own local rulers.

Spain had been dealing with Muslims since they were still Visigoth, and by the 1500s had a lot of experience dealing with heathen infidels and how to absorb infidel populations with maximum economic benefit.

Controversial Opinion: The Confederate States of America winning the Civil War would have been a good thing for the Native Americans. They would have been a useful tool for the Confederates to build up a buffer-state in Oklahoma as a bulwark against the North in the Midwest, and the Native Americans would have had a benefactor interested in propping them up.

In all seriousness, when one party holds your religious beliefs in utter disdain, and the other is currently led by a guy who's not actively trying to shut down your business and ruin your life because of what you choose to believe in...yeah, it's really not a hard choice. These assholes have never truly read the Bible, else they'd know that there's a recurring pattern throughout: God works through imperfect and unlikely people. In the instances where he chose the obvious good person (like Saul in the Old Testament, and even David after him), they usually ended up failing pretty hard. It's often the imperfect ones who end up doing the most good. Trump isn't perfect, but no Christian who's voting for him actually thinks he is. It's something lefties like this won't ever understand.
