The problem will be for how long ballots will keep appearing after election day. Unless there's a cutoff date they will continue to find boxes of them until the outcome sways in the correct direction

I'm totally guessing here but I think there's a real possibility that dems lose more votes to the stupidity of their mail-in voters than they gain from any harvesting.
Even if there's no shenanigans or foul play happening at all, reps focusing on in-person voting (early hopefully) protects them from similar stupidity from their own voters.

the aclu tried to get rid of the notary requirement for mail in ballots in my state, they lost but one of the dissents made it seem like there's a loop hole for covid and quarantine but apparently not since mail in ballots are distinct from absentees and you can only request one. if that doesn't make sense to you, it's because i don't understand it either. could be the ACLU and their feminist partners trying to salvage a victory.
the courts ultimately dont care because the polls are open so no one's rights will be infringed or burden with the notary req.

The unintentional screw-up rate by itself is going to be pretty high with a bunch of people who aren't familiar with how it works. And with the big push for this coming from one party, They're going to lose a disproportionate number of votes to those problems entirely legitimately.

At that point he really should just shave his hair and face baldness with some dignity. Aesthetics aside. I already talked about my experience with dementia patients, so I'll just say: I feel like I'm having flashbacks. I know they died long ago. But once your muscle and body fat rots due to your incapacity to properly swallow as your skin rapidly deteriorates due to dehidration we all look the same in the end I guess. The palensss around the eyes indicating either a very bad tan (orange man) or more likely in this case malnutrition leading to improper bloodflow, the wrinkles and veins on the forehead becoming more and more noticeable against the skull as both the elasticity and depth of the conjuctive tissue is lost... if my assesment of the symptoms is right, he's probably at the point at which he shits himself, not because of improper digestive system control, which likely also happens, but because his instincts have stopped functioning to the point that nothing in his brain sees any issue with just letting go on the spot instead of going to the bathroom.
I tore up a little seeing it more up close. Partially because, well, you know, being reminded of a lost one in their worst moments, specially after seeing them go through that, fucking sucks. But also because I can imagine what he's going through. I don't know what is worse, if his handlers care so little they don't realize what being in this environment is doing to him, or if they do realize, but they put him through it anyway...
Say what you will about Joe. God knows what is being done to Flynn due to his orders under Obama is unspeakable. But no one, and I mean no one deserves this shit. He needs a nursing home where caring, gentle people can make sure he has a good timetable, stable diet and does his memory exercices regularly. He doesn't need to be paraded around with fucking teleprompters like a fucking depraved muppet that can barely resemble a man anymore. I almost celebrate that he's lost his marbles hard enough to think he's running for the senate. At least that probably aleviates the tension.
Reminds me of something I heard long ago in an analysis of a french horror film: "A martyr isn't someone you truly appreciate. A martyr is a corpse on a stick you shake to proclaim your righteousness." It seems they are quite literally turning Joe into a martyr. And honestly during the Obama era I actually apreciated how compared with his contemporaries at least he had some personality for real. But leaving aside the reasons to like him, and leaving aside the reasons to hate what he's done. No one should be put through that. Ever. At least not while they're still alive.

You know, the aging of western population due to low birth rates and the issues that come with our extended lifespans is indeed an issue that needs adressing, for instance here in spain we have some of the highest average lifespans, and while I find that to be a source of pride... we also have a serious issue with the pensions and residences as a result. But point is:
