From what I can tell, while some Sami people may possess features that look more Asiatic, and there are genetic and obvious linguistic differences that separate the Sami from other Scandinavian/Nordic people, their skin tones are definitely light, and as a whole, I don't think they look drastically different from other Nordic people. The way the Northuldra (Sami) people in Frozen 2 were depicted had people wondering why they "vaguely resembled" Indigenous/Amerindian people, and I saw articles and discussion saying the movie had a heavy handed message on colonialism.

Kristoff was suppose to be Sami, or at least based on them and this caused a huge "controversy" with Tumblr/SJWs when the movie came out.

Ah, I remember that shit storm. And you're right that they usually have light skin. Klaus does a better job. If SJWs want to support Saami in media, they could actually do that by watching films made by Saami, as opposed to some retconned half-Saami princess shit. A good film to watch is Sami Blood.

So I have Saami family members. My relatives look more like the Northuldra than they do Kristoff, but I do know blonde haired blue eyed Saami. No, Saami don't look drastically different from other Nordics. There's a range. Like in this image, some look like regular Swedes and others look a bit asian. White skin, though. There is a genetic difference, but many Saami today are genetically mixed with the majority population.

This comment in peculiar though...

Just wanted to say, reading through the playtest, this is fantastic and I’m really looking forward to running it with some friends. I love how it’s so accessible to brand new TTRPG players, and scaleable to one-offs. It can be tricky getting folks together, this helps with that a lot.
I’ve never felt more valid or called out in a game text, and the psychological safety systems are a huge win, as an autistic nonbinary person with some past junk.
These make running a game much much more relaxing knowing the systems and emotional group processing are part of the experience. Love it all, can’t wait to give you all my money once this is out!

Also, this reminds me of this RPGMaker game that centers exclusively around lesbians. Forgot what it was called though, which was telling of how forgettable it is on it's own.

It just a really ugly art style with really bland designs and a SJW flair to it. Their Alien design is probably the worse defender- it doesn't look alien at all and me and my friend came up with better alien designs in a snap of a finger and neither of us are " artists" persay.
