Makes sense. Funimation giving the role Sabat's been salivating over for years to one of Vic's open friends was always a weird choice. Toei deciding it makes more sense.
The difference is that Vic hasn't done anything, has never admitted to anything, and no proof of any accusation has ever come out.
I'm definitely concerned. It may be nothing more than talking about stuff we didn't hear about, or him admitting to things that he's done that make him feel guilty (still not anything he's accused of, though), but there's always the chance of something off the wall and bad like him quitting pursuing VA jobs or dropping the lawsuit before the appeals are even done. It could also just be him feeling that this was a wake up call to him for not pursuing enough ministry related things and deciding he needs to dedicate himself to that.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it. He does say it's 'real quick', not 'a very important announcement', so he may be going into some of his darker emotional feelings or stuff that's been happening behind the scenes with people. I feel like his phrasing leans most to 'some kind of emotional reveal/information about stuff happening to me behind the scenes' than any other possibility.
