Not for leg amputations, she can still wipe her ass and wash her face. Physical therapy, though, yes- they'll want her to be able to transfer herself from bed to chair, etcMy understanding is that this is why most modern gymnasts all look 11. Puberty changes the center of gravity, so you spend, say, 6 years of your childhood getting to the elite and then all of a sudden you come crashing down. Or you can, you know, develop anorexia so you never have to go through puberty and thereby extend your career a few years.
Would a double amputee get a full-time carer? Especially someone as otherwise physically fit as Kelly still seems to be?
Whether she'll cooperate or not is another matter. She may fake weakness and try to get a caregiver. I don't know what the payment system there is like so I'm unsure if that will happen
