New York Post got their hands on a hard drive from Hunter Biden's laptop and shows Joe Biden lied about Hunter's dealings with Ukraine

Couple stories on the New York Post

FBI has had the laptop for over a year already and didn't say anything. Remember when Trump got impeached for congratulating the new President of the Ukraine?

What the hell is the FBI doing?

Supposedly there is also a video of him engaged in a "sex act" and a couple of photo's of him. This is one is particular juicy

So you're saying that they illegally obtained fake evidence that they doctored themselves? I think your argument has a couple extra chromosomes...
I think you’re acting deliberately retarded.

We don’t know the authenticity of any of this, and we don’t know how much if any of this is real. We don’t know if Rudy had someone make shit for him, if he was given a mix of authentic and false information by Russians, if for once in his life he’s telling the truth. The fact is that the information we do have leaves a lot to be questioned. The story we have about it’s origin is suspicious, the person behind the story is known for gleefully grabbing and parading around probably false information, and the person and outlet who wrote the story have motivations and a reputation for omitting information or engaging in tabloid bullshit. So until there’s clear evidence otherwise, I’m doubting this story.
If only Hunter Biden had an observable pattern of behavior that could hint as to whether this story is plausible.

He’s had drug addiction issues and has been involved in ethically dodgy businesses. It’s plausible - and it’s just as plausible that Rudy got sold a sack of bullshit and is parading around with it. There’s not enough clear information one way or another and pretty much all the Burisma shit falls into that category. I don’t know what I don’t know and can only guess based on what I do know, which is that Giuliani has very little reason not to spew random bullshit and that the timing and story just don’t smell right for him to be telling the whole truth, if any truth at all.

Both. While the pictures of Hunter are interesting, they can easily be edited/doctored, the EXIF’s played with, the pictures could be real but the emails faked, etc etc. I lean toward it all being fake because of Rudy’s track record and questionable contacts and ethics.
You realize it's not the first time he's been caught with a crack pipe right?

I do know. The question is if these are new photos or ones already out in the public. If they are new, and unedited, then it makes the whole thing more credible. Pointing out that they could be doctored is fucking basic rule one of any kind of information leak or document reveal or whatever. That’s basic fact checking - and if they are authentic then the next question becomes the origin and so on.

Seriously, people, you’re worse than the guys who claim the alien autopsy film is true. This is basic skepticism and you’re jumping all over me because you want to believe in some massive conspiracy about government corruption.

I'd like to hear some examples of Guliani jumping the gun with something of similar magnitude.

As far as I'm concerned there are three issues at play with the story:
1) Hunter Biden's personal and professional propriety
2) Allegations that Hunter's corruption is linked to the execution of Joe Biden's duties as vice president
3) Uneven application of editorial powers by social media regarding unverified claims

The first is beyond plausible, it's downright likely; that more evidence should surface for this is not surprising. The second is at the very least worth investigating, and regardless of what the veracity of the links ends up being. That alone is extremely newsworthy; the current media has made scandals with even less evidence the subject of news cycles lasting months.

Yes, from some random guy in Delaware, according to an unidentified lawyer who is working for Rudy. It’s been confirmed that Rudy has taken information from people known to be working with Russian intelligence before during his wild fishing expedition for anything in the Ukraine. The story of the acquisition is fishy as hell. The fact that he made a copy of the hard drive is fishy as hell too. The fact that only pictures purporting to be the emails were shared to the post raises even more suspicions about their veracity and their origin.

The computer repairman story is a lot like “this fell off the back of a truck officer” bullshit. It reeks.
To me it seems pretty likely that a middle-aged, trust-fund drug addict in the throes of his hedonistic lifestyle would absolutely fuck up his laptop, take it for repair, hit that pipe again and forget he had a laptop at all.

People have already posted ELAs of photos, which would reveal digital manipulation. The ELAs don't appear to contain digital distortions.

NYPost uses a DAM - digital asset management system - which adds additional EXIF data to photos on their site. You will see the embargo language in my earlier post, added to the original EXIF data.

If this is a fake, it's exceptional and expensive.

The level of effort required to create a single undetectable fake is pretty significant. Let's say someone had an image of Biden sleeping and wanted to add the crack pipe in a way that evades forensic detection. That person would need to create a GAN to merge photos of his face and the meth pipe at the right angles, then spit out a few hundred thousand versions of the image. A human would need to inspect the output to see one that passes visual and forensic analysis, the majority would be unusable. Most often, it takes days to get a single usable result. And there's a lot of photos.

Not saying you're wrong, but high quality fake photos are hard to produce. The simplest explanation is those are real.

Which then leads to trying to figure out if those photos came from the reputed source or somewhere else, as I said. There’s also massive chain of custody issues with the images involved and the hard drive itself.

It’s also equally likely a washed up politician desperate to buoy his only hope to cling to relevancy and traveling around the world and pretending he’s on official government business wouldn’t question someone handing him a hard drive and a story.

They have investigated the second and have found nothing. Multiple times. Giuliani has done the same for months claiming he has something only for it to mysteriously not appear or be shown to be either totally out of context or from suspicious sources or fabricated. His partners in this state side were caught on financial crimes and were arrested trying to flee the country.

It’s creating a copy and handing the original to the feds that makes me start to go “???”, especially when that happened months ago during the whole senate investigation into Hunter Biden and the Ukraine. Somehow this didn’t turn up then?

This entire thing is too convenient and the pieces don’t match up.
The answer to this is the simplest answer in the world.

Politics.

If anyone other than Biden was the nominee, this would probably be released with other documents once the Feds finished their investigation. It's being released right now because be are three weeks out from the election.

The October surprise is nothing new. Politicians regularly sit on dirt like this just to release it at an opportune moment.

Edit: Also, this would have never come out in December when the Feds subpoenaed the original because it was a Grand Jury Subpoena.

Here’s the email the post released. It’s fake, and a photo shop. The proof is in the corner.

There is zero reason the gmail icon in the corner should be at a different resolution than the text of the document. Test it yourself with an email. The fact is the post didn’t get the email files at all, they got fucking screenshots and PDF’s.

I dont know how big of a happening this is but I’d say that Facebook shadowbanning everyone who talks about it the bigger happening
It's happenings all the way down.

This isn't gmail. It's the Mail app for Macs.
