They are going about this the wrong way. I am now enthused and invested, when before I did not care about Biden and his crackchildren. They have created a groundswell, they are tossing red meat into the mouths of every shitposter, meme-maker, and filthy bored slob on the internet.

Overall, I'm pleased with this.

Also, it sounds like the inmates finally took over the asylum at twitter and FB. I sincerely doubt Jack and Zuck talked to their lawyers about this and were counciled that this was their best course of action. Most likely some employees went rogue. Even if Trump wasn't gunning for them prior to this, this is practically holding a gun to your temple and pulling the trigger yourself.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's a rogue employee, I just worry that they will use that as a reason to weasel out of taking any responsibility. Doesn't matter if it's two different companies, between the journalist email list, discord trannies, and all the places former and current goons, we have known about their social circles for years. We know they're all online pals. A dreamhost employee/SA goon wrecked an offshoot site years ago, it doesn't need to be a coordinated thing, there are plenty of mentally ill people with strong political opinions right now.

Oh, that's the best part of it. It doesn't matter if a rogue employee went AWOL, which I believe is what happened here, twatter and fb still *should* get fucked harder than Piper Perri in that meme. A crime has been committed in a very, very public manner and the company is responsible for it.

Thomas just wrote an unnecessary opinion on 230, Trump's been railing agaisnt 230, and the republicans, and the media need a new story since ACB's hearing is done and the vote is tomorrow. Something else needs the spotlight and this fuck up fits the bill perfectly.


I almost dont blame Null for thinking this is a set up, but that's almost gay frogs level of tin foil hat thinking there.
