Especially with the part where both social media sites have taken a stance against "fake news" with their attempts at "fact checking."

Well, now everyone saw the consequences of said "unbiased" "fact" "checking," the potential for future scandals like this is immense, and demands immediate scrutiny.

What's basically happened today is that tech companies have slowly been infected with parasitic political activists for years, and although they usually work from behind the scenes, multiplying unnoticed, the bloated hosts of Twitter and Facebook can no longer hold in all the growing worms inside of their animated corpses, resulting in their stomachs blowing open onto an unsuspecting internet that previously thought this kind of censorship would never occur.

r/news has censored every story with Biden in the title the past hour. That all Biden stories stop appearing one hour into the past must be a technical limitation of Ceddit, as no way these stories haven't been bombing that sub all day long. All Biden posts are removed before even a single comment could accrue shows that this is probably automatic, no manual pruning.

That mindset is probably why they rushed to censor fucking everything, to avoid a repeat of 2016. Unfortunately instead of approaching this from a calm rational perspective where they slowly released stories that "debunk" and "fact-check" the Posts findings and let the story burn itself out they irrationally triggered a Streisand Effect and caused thousands of voters to wonder what the hell is going on. Twitter and Facebook pulled the equivalent of burning their own house down and wondering why the cops are arresting them when the arson investigators found the charred remnants of a meth lab and dead hookers in the basement.
