New York Post got their hands on a hard drive from Hunter Biden's laptop and shows Joe Biden lied about Hunter's dealings with Ukraine

Couple stories on the New York Post

FBI has had the laptop for over a year already and didn't say anything. Remember when Trump got impeached for congratulating the new President of the Ukraine?

What the hell is the FBI doing?

Supposedly there is also a video of him engaged in a "sex act" and a couple of photo's of him. This is one is particular juicy

I'm absolutely giddy about this whole thing and eagerly await the Team Biden official response. With more being teased, there's no way this doesn't get even better. Big Tech is completely shitting the bed and trying to get away with it by bouncing 230 off its rev limiter and praying it doesn't throw a rod. Are we close to a Streisand Singularity? Cresting the Streisand Event Horizon?

I can hardly wait!

Man, they really aren't trying to hide it at all, are they?
They seem to believe that booting government officials from their social media accounts is an effective killshot to silence and neuter them, rather than act as a spread-eagle invitation to get themselves turned out by the government's massive law boner. Really goes to show how utterly addicted these people are to social media and internet asspats, the concept of "real world" consequences hardly registers with them.

Crazy how a little bit of imagined power goes to someone's head. The absolute ego on these people to think that pushing people out of their pretty little websites changes the world in their favor.

I'd be giddy, too, if I didn't also think they're gonna get away with this scot-free, like they always do.

I can't wait to see how hard Trump monitors this situation.

How I imagine any hearings will go: "Aw gee we're real sorry that we did all that stuff. :( We'll fire a few people and pay a big fine and promise to do better next time, 'kay? :)" And then nothing changes because senators like getting fuck-off huge campaign donations from big tech.

Twitter's been making a massive miscalculation for a long time now. I've always been fond of saying "Twitter isn't real life" because that's at the core of the mistake they've been making. None of this actually matters. Not the MSM interviews, not the Tweets, Facebook posts, the seething statements from Democrats, it's all pointless, ethereal fluff that will be forgotten in a week. People love to compare the modern world to Orwell's 1984, but Orwell himself made a huge mistake when it came to painting up his dystopia, much the same way that Twitter made a mistake when crafting theirs.

Big Brother's dystopia relied on people gaslighting themselves into insanity. The only way that society could function was if everyone who took part in it drove themselves into a constant, fanatical state where nothing but the present mattered. In reality, very few people do that, and I mean very few. Sure, you have plenty of people who are willing to sit in front of Twitter and Facebook all day, every day, consuming every piece of rage-bait that flies by their eyeballs to make themselves more fanatical than they were yesterday, but that's not the average person.

Twitter saw it more than fit to push story after story about the Trump Tower/Russian Collusion meeting and they never batted an eye, but when Hunter Biden's crapped briefs started to waft into the room, there wasn't a second's hesitation. They slammed the door shut so hard that it caught the fucking House Judiciary Committee's dicks in the door. Fanatics will clearly side with Twitter, but sane people don't like hypocrisy, and Twitter and Facebook have been hemorrhaging their userbases for several years now. You are much more likely to find someone who's deactivated their Facebook or Twitter account, someone who's just stopped using them entirely, or someone who was banned from the platforms than you are to come across someone who just made a new account or uses it religiously.

The remaining groups are the political fanatics, the people who only use Facebook to talk to those 3 aunts they hate but don't want to actually visit, or the people who've started using the platform in an incredibly niche fashion. The result of this is Facebook and Twitter constantly trying to cater to the people who are left, the people who are extreme enough to handle whatever the current gaslighting is doing. As this speeds up, the gaslighting has to become more and more intense, and with every iteration you risk 'breaking the conditioning' by trying to push a lie that's too hard to believe, causing people to splinter off. The cycle resets, the gaslighting amps up for the remaining users, and it just keeps going.

The mainstream media is suffering from this same cycle, which is why so many stories that come flying off the shelves these days seem so objectively insane: It's because they are. They're catering to what must be the 8th or 9th cycle of lunatics who have superglued their hands to the 200MPH merry-go-round in a stubborn refusal to come back to reality. This is even visibly measurable on the Farms, as we've seen several users who were vociferously anti-Trump at the onset of this election throw their hands up and go, "No, this is fucking crazy." They didn't always become pro-Trump, but they definitely don't trust the mainstream media or the Democrats anymore.

Social media is for the insane. The mainstream media is for the insane. Democratic politicians are insane, but they're not stupid. They knew exactly what they were doing and spent the last six years trying to lay the foundations for a massive gaslighting campaign that utilized the MSM and social media to blanket everyone under half-truths and objective lies in an effort to completely crush objective reality to cater to the needs of the gaslit. The reason they're so angry now is because they've just realized how useless it was, and how far away from the voting public this has placed them. They are miles from the border to Crazy Town, in the wrong direction, and it's 18 days until the election.

All those carefully-crafted, anonymously-sourced stories, all of these donations, the waves of account bans and trumped-up scandals, and it did nothing. It prevented nothing. Trump's influence just kept growing and the average citizen still didn't give a shit about what they were saying. They spent years of their time and hundreds of millions to build an absolutely monsterous series of algorithms to fuel their gaslighting machine and it didn't do anything. If anything it made it worse.

So why is Trump so focused on social media? Why is he on Twitter and why is he saber-rattling 230 protections every morning for breakfast? Why is he constantly attacking something that does not matter? Because they think it does. Because they've committed all of their resources to defending this hill because they think that this hill is the entire country and all known reality and it's the only thing that matters. Social media and the mainstream media are--in relation to the election--barely anything more than an attempt to ply for the popular vote.

The popular vote isn't how you win elections. They're falling for the same trick all over again.

Both. While the pictures of Hunter are interesting, they can easily be edited/doctored, the EXIF’s played with, the pictures could be real but the emails faked, etc etc. I lean toward it all being fake because of Rudy’s track record and questionable contacts and ethics.
lol we're literally at the point where photographic evidence elicits "all lies, move along citizens!" responses. :story:

I wonder if Joe Biden might be indicted for bribery, corruption and embezzlement then turns around and claims he's had Alzheimers for years so he can't be responsible for his actions.

Imagine running for the highest office in the land while knowing you had dementia so bad your crackhead son ran circles around you, While you were Vice-President, no less.
Biden becomes extremely aggressively angry every time the Ukrainian subject with Hunter comes up.
Threatening to punch the person inquiring, calling them names, putting on that fake Scranton tough guy act.
It seems to me he gets so infuriated because he knows it's just the tip of the iceberg of everything he and Obama were into...probably leading into directly paying the Communist Chinese using tax payer dollars.

This is like during the final weeks leading up to the 2016 election when all that spirit cooking shit got released about Hillary and Podesta, which basically made a good number of people stay home and not vote at all.

If it were fake, I think that maybe we would have heard something from the Biden campaign by now. It’s been 24 hours and nary a peep.

It’s either real or close enough to being possible that they have to think long and hard about how they word their response.
Oh it's real. The Biden campaign hasn't denied it, they've done a lot of hand waving and obfuscation, knowing the MSM will carry their water, but they haven't questioned the stories authenticity.

When good journalists, and love them or hate them the Murdoch press are the best in the business, get their hands on a massive story, they will release it in a systematic way. The first drop is the taster, there for sure is a lot more coming down the pipe. From what I understand there are hundreds of thousands of emails in the laptop. Just like Hillary, Hunter had no idea that syncing your computer to your email saves your entire cache on the hard drive. Hillary is a boomer with brain damage which explains why she thought keeping a server next to her toilet would be secure, but I guess with Hunter we'll have to put it down to the crack.

Reminds of the GoT scene about the difference between influence and power. One side is focused entirely on influence, the other has the power and is focused on not using it.

I understand the sentiment, but lemme play Devil's advocate here: social media does matter, because it has real-world consequences.

Social media has broken the Cathedral's stranglehold on narrative and the news cycle. Look at how citizen journalists like Andy Ngo have utterly destroyed the "peaceful protesters" narrative, or how the footage of Kenosha Kyle makes it much more likely that he'll be exonerated.

There's a reason so many of the shitposters of the Great Meme War have been banhammered and/or exiled to digital ghettoes like Parler and BitChute. That's because they struck a blow.

Conversely, social media can cause people to do stupid things based on falsehoods. Look at all the riots; one of them happened because a black guy suspected of murder became An Hero, and people thought it was another police shooting.

Twitter and Facebook themselves may be in their sunset years, but social media as a whole is here to stay, just like the printing press.

Again, Twitter isn't real life, but it does affect real life. Not using new tools is failing to adapt, and so is being denied access to said tools.

I hate to sound like activist scum, but it's not (usually) the guy who Just Wants to Grill who makes history happen (and I have little room to talk because I myself don't have Twitter or Facebook, and Just Wanna Grill). But nothing will get better if you and I just sit around with our thumbs up our asses and whine as Clown World takes its toll.
