Populist wave didn't benefit Canada much. Even the Provinces that elected a Conservative Premier didn't get the tax cuts that everyone presumed. I don't know, Conservatives could win again (federal cons) but they'd have to present themselves as a very ''business oriented'' Conservative party. Like the U.K Tories. Social Conservatism doesn't benefit the average non religious person much. Most people who vote Conservative want three things : Low tax, good economy and support for small business as well as larger ones.

Maybe that's because the populists are not as conservative as some sell them to be, or they pretty much get jerked around behind the scenes and dragged to the center-left. That's what made Ralph klein a standout from populists. the Don getty era PC's tried it with him after donny the retard stepped down, but Ralph pulled a boss move where he was going to announce some cuts to politician perks, and they can go out and announce they are going to keep them and justify it. Balanced the budget, paid off the debt, introduced a 10% flat tax, no PST, and by the end of his term, unemployment was in the 3-4 percentile. The people that hate him are the big government types and the public sector for obvious reasons. He went from a government that was about to get kicked out by the liberals and turned it into bigger majorities every time an election came up until he stepped down in 2006.

Klein checked off all of those boxes, but yeah the populist wave was just hijacked by a bunch of center-lefts that have shit electoral platforms, and will do anything to get elected to enact their shitty platform. The last populist invoked the name of his dead brother to become premier, but seems to have distanced himself from his base after getting elected.

two by-elections are gonna happen by October 26. One in Toronto Centre and another in York Centre because two liberal MPs resigned, and most surprisingly Maxime Bernier has decided to run in York Centre

The situation in York Centre looks hopeful for the PPC. While I don't expect them to win maybe they split the vote and prevent the conservatives from winning. And here's the thing about the people who only vote for the CONS because they want Trudeau out; seats in parliament only matter if Trudeau gets a minority government. A conservative majority wouldn't do anything. we have to realize that the conservatives NEVER use their power. You look at the UK and you look at Germany with the CDU. America is lucky to have Trump because he uses his power somewhat. 2019 was the only valid time to vote conservative because a majority parliament doesn't have to have consent from other parties.

The PPC is the only reactionary party. A reactionary social movement is the only way to gain ground. The best situation we can hope for is a conservative minority government with the PPC being a collaborator.

Going back to the first point, the reason why rep-by-pop wouldn't matter is that you have to reach a consensus when passing legislation. If the communist and fascists get 15 seats nothing changes because in order to pass legislation you have to meet in the middle. Right now the liberals have to collaborate with either the Bloc, the cons or the NDP to pass legislation. This is also the reason having a conservative government wouldn't really matter too.

The west will secede and it will install a cuckservative government that turns Edmonton into the new Toronto and Vancouver into the new Montreal. And what will you do then? secede again?

The conservatism in Quebec makes Alberta look like New York. They vote LPC in federal elections 1) for the money and 2) because their politics are dominated by Montreal thanks to first past the post+popular vote idiocy. Montreal votes red, the rest of the province is purple.
