I'll tell it so normies can understand it

A few months ago the top service for turning WoW gold into real life money (Gallywix cartel) got banned for violating TOS. Goon Squad heavily used it to turn their guild's gold they earned by boosting people (playing the game for them in turn for in game gold) into real life money. After their method of earning actual money got taken from them they got the big brain idea to just start charging people real money via paypal.

This probably would've been fine except they were already notorious for scamming people out of gold, so when they started dealing directly with real life money they went into turbo charged autism. Apparently the guild leader got reported trying to talk a 12 year old into using his mom's credit card to send them money and Blizzard just got tired of dealing with the whole guild and yeeted almost all of them out of the game permanently.

The guildmaster certainly was -- there was a big argument when the last expansion dropped because the people who wanted to competitively raid/pvp questioned the wisdom of having a self-admitting suicidal depressive troon running the guild

this couldn't have ended any other way.

For those not in the know: Frank Sidebottom was a notorious white supremecist mass murderer in the UK around the 80's and 90's.

All these goons with mid-00 regdates coming out of the woodwork to declare that lowtax was always unfunny and shitty, despite over a decade of encouraging and buying into all of his fruitless money-grabbing schemes. Even gamequoter showed up, who I have nothing against, but all the goons rubbing their lady erections all over his single post for several pages will probably keep him away for another few years.

These people were the people having screaming fits when people dared to question Lowtax's story of why his wife was in a DV shelter back in January of this year, banning, mocking, or melting down over anyone who claimed to find the story suspect or fishy. This was a community that was so broken that they automatically assumed the woman who hid out in a DV shelter MUST be the villain, because their beloved Lowtax declared it thus. These are people that gave him $15,000 a month out of a warped sense of affection. Caylen Borroughs, aka former admin Abe, tossed two thousand dollars to Lowtax's patreon just for an attaboy. These were people who bragged about little banners under their avatars that said "Buglord" and "Grimey Drawer" that they got whenever they tossed money at Lowtax for fuck all, and Jeffrey had to make it a forums feature to hide them now to avoid it becoming a mark of shame.

My best advice for Jeffrey of YOSPOS is for him to limit himself to only slightly less wifebeating than actual Lowtax, or merely the occasional rape, as that will guarantee that what little is left of the community continues to hump his leg.

It's quite weird seeing goons treating the return of old posters as evidence that Lowtax was why they left when Lowtax mostly ignored the forums for the last decade.
