Joe doesn't even drink alcohol because addiction runs in the family, so he's at least somewhat aware of how you have to handle addiction, which is not bailing your fuckup son out over and over and giving him millions of dollars. If/when Hunter finally ODs and dies Joe will be partially responsible.

Also they supposedly got this laptop from a repair shop in Vermont from a guy who said he thinks it's Hunter Bidens, but not sure and the emails themselves don't have any of the usual tags that are used to verify the source of said emails and Bannon (currently under indictment for ripping off millions from a border wall scam), and Guiliani, have refused to give the hard drive to anyone but the post. The jab at his dick was honestly the step too far, for me. I know that OANN tends to be a bit on the "based" side but that's way too crude for me to believe that it came from Chanel instead of some random dude on /pol/. I'm willing to entertain the idea, but extreme claims require extreme evidence, and in this case I'm not sure I'd even want to see the fucking evidence to begin with.

I don't know what the fuck was on that harddrive but I have a difficult time trying to rationalize it as being child pornography. There would be no reason to "drip feed" something like that and mess around with all of this piddly shit if that was the case.
