This. Further, the biggest factor in your overall happiness (for lack of a better word; “happiness” is a tad shallow as a concept, but a useful shorthand) is the quality of your relationships with others. Dax doesn’t seem to have any meaningful connections with other people, does he? Even his girlfriend is just a means to his end of living that degenerate life.

That seems likely. Every story I've heard from him seems like he's always on the backfoot with them or raging over something his sister, dad or mom did. That in and of itself always seemed pretty lame. Him doing nothing but complain about his family just makes him seem like a spoiled middleclass teenager with no real life experience. Actually kinda like faith lol.

I know nothing about either suicide other than they happened and were talked about, Dax apparently knows why for both of them but does not talk about it (which honestly is a fairly normal route to go no matter the reason why). You'd have to talk to someone in Dax's inner circle to get an answer on the why but you will probably get a blanket "depression" answer.

As far as numbers @Miss Phase would know more on that.

As far as non payment, Dax has covered it with pride that he makes everyone grovel in order to get paid and fucks with them every step of the way (wrong amounts, delays, excuses, etc.) While I do not know Call of the Deeps specific situation, it is a fair assumption that at the very least Dax was delaying payments and forcing a mentally ill person to grovel and beg to be paid, which for someone with depression who has to do this to someone they look up to amplifies feelings of worthlessness by orders of magnitudes (the ghosting, the being treated as annoying for asking for money, getting paid less then talked about, etc.). Is Dax responsible for the guy killing himself? NO! UNEQUIVACALLY NO! EVEN IF DAX'S LAST WORDS TO CALL OF THE DEEP WERE "I'LL PAY YOU IF YOU KILL YOURSELF YOU LOSER F-SLUR" ONLY CALL OF THE DEEP COULD MAKE THAT CHOICE.

But does Dax's shitty treatment of people that look up to him and offer work contribute to their mental issues and detrimental to them especially if they are depressed, something Dax knows about much of his fan base? Yeah, and given what we know about Dax he banks on crushing self esteem in order to leverage the best value possible to himself and has zero regard for the consequences then will attempt to profit off it and buck any feelings of responsibility.

I don't expect Dax to be a mental health expert. I don't expect Dax to be there for every depressed fan who has suicidal thoughts. But when the people who don't off themselves quit working with you because you are an insufferable douche who is incapable of taking any responsibility and actively preys on and fucks with vulnerable people and pushes away anyone who is somewhat normal (unless he is getting something from them) then don't be surprised when one of those people kills themself and people look at you durring you tribute youtube stream and your 100 jokes about "by MYYYYYYYYY suicide shirt" and say you probably were part of the problem not the solution.

That's a long time to forget. By now a lot of those cards should be expiring of have been reissued cause they were lost.

Patreon fuckery theories:

1. He is paying himself to make himself look cool because he is obsessed with image as that dollar amount is the only claim to legitamacy he has to show he is successful & he cries victim to legitimize it. This most likely would be done through a mix of Crypto laundering and Kickstarter kickbacks he cosigns and promotes with the sketchy mush brains who he keeps around despite being incapable of doing a single thing right, but they are willing to sign off on this crap and take the legal hits for him as well as keep it hush hush.

2. He's laundering Cryto through a crypto tumbler and paying himself to avoid capital gains tax on currency appreciation.

3. Old fans forgot they were paying and Patreon is not listing them as no longer donating if they lose their card or get a new one (this did happen to me and showed me as still donating to Dax even though I wasn't)

4. Potential money laundering from some sort of activity (His marketing company is as sketchy as a mom and pop construction company, he admits he loves to play loose with the IRS, he barely does any work for either job, and seems to only be concerned with drugs and whores)

Or we are all wrong, Dax is super cool and awesome and funny and we are all just jelous haters and his communities are super cool and awesome too and people give money because they want to belong to these super cool exclusive communities and Dax sells out every venue he goes to and tops every chart he is on and the metrics don't correspond because Evil SJW's and Karens are gunning for him 24/7 but he is unphased by it all cause he is an alpha chad who will take on all comers and can do anything and everything because he is smarter and stronger than anyone.... but I have my doubts.

That incident is news to me. However I have two juicy bits of info.
1. Remember when Dax was desperately trying to befriend Onision because he wanted to meet underage girls and learn how Onision does what he does?
and no, it wasn't just a prank bro. He spent a month on twitter begging Onision to come on to NP2 after the Patreon ban, even going so far as to say "Criminals welcome" when people called out how creepy it was that Dax was doing that. Upon relistening you will find justification of Dax saying it's okay for grown men to fuck under age teenagers.
2. Remember a few pages back when Dax spilled his guts to Bonk saying it's not fun anymore? Apparently Bonk is underage.

I believe Bonk is 14 in this recording from 2 years back where he argues with TDS mods over their F-slur actions. Which would make him 16ish now.


They have a literal virgin contest where the king chad's are Crippled Jesus and Riley. Incel is very accurate for most of that fanbase.

As you've noted, I support Theory 3. Knowing myself, I've definitely forgotten about automatic payments I make, even big ones. It's not hard to forget an automatic payment of 5 dollars a month even when you make over $1000/month net salary.

I actually leaned toward that one myself at first because of my personal experience. What strikes me as off is the dip and then resubscription bounces every month without exception.
Not saying it's wrong, I just think it is a single plank in the Userbase floor that makes sure Dax always looks like he is making over $20k a month.

I don't exactly know how Patreon works, but the dip may be his active fanbase renewing their pledges when they have the money to spend. I'm thinking that about 75% of the money he's making right now are from people who've forgotten that they were even patrons. It might be even closer to 90%, if I'm being highly cynical.

I'm not discounting the other alternatives, I just think my theory's the most plausible.
