I would love it if he won the popular vote this time. I want to run up the score.
However, at this point, I just care about him winning the election, period. If he loses the popular vote again, then I don't really care at this point.
Win the EC by going to the supreme court to get a recount stopped in Florida with barrett being the critical vote.I think it would be cooler to have him win the electoral college but lose the popular vote again, just to see the meltdown. The same people who want to get rid of the electoral college also want to get rid of voter ID. Gee, I wonder why?
Nah, libs are always blubbering about "Our DemocracyI think it would be cooler to have him win the electoral college but lose the popular vote again, just to see the meltdown. The same people who want to get rid of the electoral college also want to get rid of voter ID. Gee, I wonder why?
Oh my sweet summer child.I want them to have no talking points other than "we were wrong, we admit defeat".
These literally sound like the same topics from the first debate. I will kill someone if they keep going "WILL YOU DENOUNCE WHITE SUPREMACY DRUMPF" or "MUH CHARLOTTESVILLE" and then also bring up his tax returnsHere are the final topics for Biden's last stand:
It's not just the younger voters sitting out this election.
A little background, my parents both came to america decades ago from an asian communist country. They worked their way up from immigrants with little but the clothes on their back to the decent, middle class life that they have now.
The other day, I was chatting with my mother and she brought up reparations out of the blue. I was actually a little surprised because she's never been one for paying attention to politics or current events, but suddenly the floodgates were opened. She told me that the way the Democrats talked about reparations was exactly alike to how the communists started speaking before they took everything. That it wasn't right a person could work their entire life and have some politician take away everything they earned to give to someone else. She told me there was not way she was going to vote for that "thief with dementia". I told her she could always vote for Trump, but she said she couldn't do that either, and she was just going to sit out on voting for a president this year. This is a boomer who has voted straight D for decades, often just checking off next to the name with the correct letter.
I think it's going to be really close, and the election could swing either way, but it will definitely be interesting to see what groups voted more/less in the aftermath.
I know, it'sOh my sweet summer child.
If Trump wins a landslide, they'll claim "SEE! America is still racist! In fact, it's even more racist now because Trump is emboldening white supremacists to come out in public now!"
There's no scenario where they will admit they are their own problem. The system fucked them. Always and forever.
But when will Trump disavow? Even when he did it last night, he still hasn't done it. And if he does Biden can just say he's doing it for the vote. Also, millions are voting as we speak. Millions upon millions have cast their ballots. These literally sound like the same topics from the first debate. I will kill someone if they keep going "WILL YOU DENOUNCE WHITE SUPREMACY DRUMPF" or "MUH CHARLOTTESVILLE" and then also bring up his tax returns

RNC should also include Showtime for making that shitty Comey Files movie.
See, I think the opposite. In a fair election, Trump would win in a landslide.
As you said, I've heard many many people say they voted Blue in 2016 but will not vote or even vote for Trump in 2020. I've not heard a single person go the opposite direction saying they are going from Trump to Biden.
I could just be in a bubble though.
They talked about climate change for 10 minutes in the first debate; Chris Wallace kept calling Trump anti-science.They are also adding climate change to the debate, so Biden can sink himself telling people that America needs to shitcan oil and natural gas and use solar and eat bugs instead.
Nope. Citizens United v FEC.Hell, all of those celebrity Vote blue! vidos should be considered campaign contributions too.

I think neck and neck early voting with a surprising early turnout for Trump is indicative of an election day blowout. I basically expected no one to vote Trump early, because if you're voting Trump you know or strongly suspect that early votes will not be secure. Most Trump voters, myself included, will be voting in person on election day in hopes of avoiding as much funny business as possible. The situation for Democrats is the opposite, the enthusiastic will vote as early as possible because they're desperate to own the bad orange man, election day Democrat voters will be unenthused stragglers. Supporting personal anecdote: A close relative of mine with a bad case of television induced TDS made a big show of going to vote early, I'm quietly biding my time until election day.Early voting is going to be weird.
I think what we’re seeing is enthusiasm for Trump overrepresenting him in the early vote share as people cast their ballot right as early voting opens. I think the Democrats will slowly pull ahead then develop their expected leadas deadlines approach. It’s basic human nature; people put shit off, and you’re more likely to procrastinate if you see something as a chore to begin with.
For most Biden voters, casting their vote for him is nothing if not a chore.
We won’t know the full picture on early voting until the early voting period starts to close in key states. I expect there are going to be lawsuits and deadline extensions as well, moreso if the Democrats underperform.
I’m encouraged that Trump is doing better than expected, but I don’t think that will hold up to the last minute surge. If his lead actually remains, expect the DNC to try and use that narrative to drive Election Day turnout, although the enthusiasm of Trump’s base is going to give him the advantage of people are convinced it’s close.
As an aside, vote by mail is going to be the last nail in the coffin for the idea of record youth vote turn out. Youth registration is down because of the lack of campus outreach, and youth absentee voting will be a disaster as large swathes of 18-24’s forget about the little envelope they pushed to the side of their table to make room for their plate of pizza rolls.
