New York Post got their hands on a hard drive from Hunter Biden's laptop and shows Joe Biden lied about Hunter's dealings with Ukraine

Couple stories on the New York Post

FBI has had the laptop for over a year already and didn't say anything. Remember when Trump got impeached for congratulating the new President of the Ukraine?

What the hell is the FBI doing?

Supposedly there is also a video of him engaged in a "sex act" and a couple of photo's of him. This is one is particular juicy

So an illegal log in. This throws the 'biden left it so it's the repair guy's property' theory out.

Not exactly. The theory / timeline I heard was:

  1. They took the HDD out of the old Macbook
  2. They put it in a replacement Macbook
  3. They repaired the OS / made it boot (I don't know about Macs, but in a Windows PC going from one laptop to a second identical laptop wouldn't be hard.)
  4. Hunter's email, messenger, and cloud storage clients auto-synced without input on their part
  5. PROFIT
No illegal login needed, since the device did it via the saved credentials on it. If Hunter practiced even the most basic of InfoSec (which, given his father was the FUCKING VICE PRESIDENT, should have been a given) it wouldn't have worked.

But it did.

Oh for the love of...
Biden is a mindless fake thug. That's why he never can summon the words to dance diplomatically out of Ukraine questions.
It's always the, "Fite me rite now" shit. Knowing he has full cover from a criminal media infrastructure.
People say it's elder abuse that he's out there running while senile.
Naw fuck him. I hope they throw him into his Gitmo cell head first.

This is delusional. I'll literally bet you this doesn't happen.

After seeing that vid, and after seeing that photo of Giuliani standing next to that Chinese dude with Bannon and Li-Meng Yan(?) lurking in the background, I think I speak for all of us when I say holy fucking shit.

It’s actually happening. It’s real. I’m hearing that Trump and Giuliani are now in possession of three hard drives full of evidence of the CCP blackmailing the Bidens, and of the artificial origins of SARS-CoV-2.

Buckle in. This is going to get fucking weird. I mean, normal by 2020 standards, but very weird for any other year.

While I’m definitely not counting out the “nothing will fucking happen because it never does” scenario, this is absolutely the closest to “it’s actually happening this time” than ever, at least personally. Fun times ahead, also make sure to save local copies of that whistleblower video, they’ll want that down ASAP.

War with China would at least be proxy based and hopefully not as chaotic as full scale civil war.
Maybe.

Canada has increased its naval presence in the far east.

The RN is deploying a carrier group (such as it is) to the far east in January, and has been cycling ships into deployments, in the Indian Ocean and the far east, at an accelerated rate since the summer.

US 7th fleet is carrying out a lot of "training" operations in the south china sea. More than usual, I think.

If it's to be war, I don't think there'll be any proxy wars. It'll be a direct confrontation between the west and china.

There are many different ways to accomplish this, but the easiest I find is this: The person who handed the hard drive over used the saved passwords on it to access his email, dived in, and downloaded select ones.

So an illegal log in. This throws the 'biden left it so it's the repair guy's property' theory out.
You're assuming he's using a crappy webmail, when most people still use a mail application. All the emails are cached locally in that case.

Bullshit. Logging on to someone's email without their consent is a felony, there is no fucking way anyone associated with IT is going to straight up do that, especially someone who repairs computers for a living. It's perfectly clear what happened here.

Hunter dropped off three laptops and some other equipment for repair. They were repaired. The shop owner followed up with Hunter as to when he was gonna get paid. Hunter didn't respond, because reasons. The store owner considered them abandoned, took them into his possession as per contract, and having already been provided the login password (needed for repair) he found tons of incriminating data stored in the HDD.

Now this begs the question why the fuck would Hunter abandon a Mac Book Pro with all that data about shady deals, drug use and maybe CP over eighty five measly dollars. Hunter Biden is a millionaire after all, it doesn't make sense. So I conclude that 1) Hunter isn't in fact a millionaire and $85 (plus whatever he could get from the foundation for replacements) mattered to him 2) he's a junkie and really needed the cash for drugs and 3) he didn't think there was any incriminating data on the computers because he thought he'd already wiped the laptop.

Taking the first point, is Hunter really a millionaire? Likely not, he' has a major league drug habit which isn't cheap and most of the money he was making he'd have to kick upstairs to his old man and whoever else. If he was running short on cash a few hundred dollars for the next hit would have REALLY mattered, so I totally understand why he'd stiff the shop owner. But how could he possibly have believed he'd wiped his drive when he obviously hadn't? I'd put that down to a boomer tier mistake, Hunter is 50 years old after all. He didn't understand that syncing his Maacbook to his I-Phone and his gmail automatically stored his entire email, his text messages and any attachments received or sent as a local copy on his computer. He didn't worry about leaving his laptop because he didn't know that the stuff was on it. Why would he? He was sending texts with his phone, he was emailing via his gmail server. It was a dumb mistake, but completely understandable.

From the Joe Biden thread, courtesy @AnitaSarsleezian.

Uh. Hunter's not a big guy. That body under him is... oddly scaled.

... jesus fuck.

Oh for fucks sake an actual underage sex slave?! I was kidding when I linked this to Pizzagate! Reality, please, for all that is good and holy on this wretched planet. Stop oneuping my jokes!

Local CNN political analyst is very upset. I'm not sure that "Republican scum" is a particularly unbiased way to talk about a political party, but the only people who believe that CNN is unbiased are people who have so many chromosomes that they could juggle them. Are you going for a high-score there, Joe? Chill out with the talking points, goddamn.
I'm guessing they're fairly confident that Rudy's trove is authentic, else they would be spending less time casting Trump as a great evil as they ignore the relevance of Joe Biden and would instead spend more time actually debunking the allegations with anything more than "well Joe's calendar doesn't say he went for any meeting".

You answered your own question.

Who the hell cares. Hunter isn’t running for president and the current president’s son does speeches and interviews while hopped up on coke.

Everyone already knows Hunter has had a past with drugs and his own father has forgiven him. Y’all act like drugs aren’t an issue for millions of people and that the current president isn’t the king of nepotism himself.

Not the drugs, the sheer corruption is the issue. I wouldn’t care so much about this incident if it proved that Joe Biden only used his position to keep his son out of jail, for that would actually be humanizing and a clear sign that he puts his family first even when they are scumbags, which everyone can sympathize with.

Instead we are left with nothing but escalating proof that Joe Biden is a sold commodity and isn’t fit to be president of my left shoe much less the USA. Even worse, Trump’s impeachment trial is appearing now to be a stalling action, one meant to protect a clear line of cash that the DNC clearly desperately needs.

I understand that money will never leave politics no matter how much I want it to, but it better be AMERICAN money from AMERICAN interests in our politics, not foreign trash.

THIS MAKES LITERALLY NO SENSE. you portray hunter as some money pinching junkie desperately short on cash. Do you know the cost of 3 mac book pros? It's definitely more than 85. A junkie, short on cash, would SELL them

What do we know FOR SURE? trump camp has a habit to overblow insignificant things. The story was obviously timed (October) and is eerily on the lines of a particular old email narrative. Fool me once...

Confident? They fucking KNOW it's authentic. The FBI have had the original hard drive for the past year, the Biden campaign were probably given their own copy months ago. They've had plenty of time to get a counter narrative planned and to lock it down, but instead they seem paralyzed.

The first response was for big social to outright censor the original NYP drop. It was a wild overreaction for what was detailing something already known, that the Bidens were taking money from the Ukraine. Assuming that the Biden campaign and the DNC expected a drop from the emails and that the Twitter and Facebook censoring was agreed beforehand as an appropriate first line of defense, and the wildly disproportionate nature of this response, I believe they were expecting far worse to be released and ended up crushing a fly with a sledge hammer.

Now that they've blown their figurative load it's going to be far harder for them to censor subsequent drops, especially if they're particularly salacious. Giuliani, or whoever is behind this and managing him, have played the media, big tech and the DNC like a fiddle. They've gotten the first drops to be talked about far more that they would have been minus the Streisand effect and they've made it nigh on impossible for Twiiter, Google and Facebook to censor the stuff implicating Biden directly when it comes.

For real, does anyone here have a handle on what they're basing this Russian disinformation narrative from? I remember reading that there was some spook report that Guillani was being pulled into a Russian spy hoax or something but that doesn't feel like it's good enough to dismiss the story entirely.

I mean Tucker Carlson and other big right wing media personalities are staking their reputations on this, and they've said that this shit is airtight from the shit they've seen behind the screen. I refuse to believe that they would do something that retarded with no evidence. I suppose we'll have to wait a couple more days for something really big to drop.
One other thing I saw pointed out I think it was Benie man was the Guillani is one of the US most respected prosecutors ( he took down a big crime family and lived that should say something.) Which you cant be an idiot to do. It would not surprise me if Russia is somehow involved because I have no doubt they want Trump to win because they are afraid of China. But I do not belive Guillani would put out information like this with investigating it. That other hard drive from China, drive 1, if it exists might be the corraberating evidence that this is real and might be what Gullani is going on.

It doesnt matter at all if Rudy Giuliani broke into Hunter's crack house and stole it as far as CP and other crimes go. The government can use evidence obtained by private citizens that would be suppressed by a judge if the government had obtained it the way the citizens did.

As long as it really is Hunter's laptop and emails it doesnt matter politically either. No voter able to be swayed cares if Rudy used dirty tricks to get it if the dirt isnt fake. The plebs love watching their betters fight and betray and trick each other.
