Yeah him constantly begging fans for money and intentionally stalling to put big tips on the leaderboards right away is harmless! Not malicious at all, he’s like early seasons homer and peter, just a lovable jolly idiot who always means well!

these people are fucking mental. There are endless amounts of streamers and youtubers who don’t feel the need to constantly guilt trip and beg for money. hell the so called scumbags that restream him never feel the need to remind people that they can donate.

I say this not as a detractor but as someone who spends more time than they should watching people online. Phil is absolutely bottom of the barrel in literally every category, he is trash content. Lacking self awareness is not a good thing.


I’ve seen people who make a fraction of his income have more professional streaming set ups. Phil looks like someone who just started streaming and peaks at 3 viewers while having the smugness and entitlement of a streamer who pulls in 5K views. There is nothing redeemable about Phil’s content unless you admit he’s a piece of shit and you enjoying seeing how scummy he’s going to be on any single given day.

yea cartoon girls who bring in 5-10x more inn1 stream than phil, people who actually "work" putting in 8-20+ hours streaming in a single day. ive seen streams where some ofvthese girls make $1k in under an hour on a just chatting stream from weeb simps, money phil could only dream of.

There's very much a pecking order too. The public are second from bottom. Everywhere I worked, we hated the public. Detested them. Avoided at all times. From their worthless opinions, to their endless complaining over every single feature and stupid repetitive service desk tickets twe have to respond to. How about instead of giving a game 0 stars because it doesn't work on your 1 machine, out of the 2 million copies sold, you just die. Fix verified! The only people worse are journalists. They're incompetent, uneducated, petty, vile, lying scum, after any freebies they can get for a good review... and still give you a bad review. Remember it's not dev teams who ask for your opinions, it's marketing teams running community engagement programs. Given the state of the industry I'd say people who mess up their games are the exception as opposed the rule ("1 game-breaking bug in 2 million copies sold" yeah, ok. Tell that to the multi-gigabyte day 1 patch users are expected to download). It sounds more like the company did a slap dash job and the devs are angry at the customers for reporting bugs,

At the end of day one can chalk up that way of thinking to human nature. Some people honestly don't want to admit to themselves that there is no redemption for people like Phil; some genuinely believe that there is a chance for Phil to change for the better.

One has to be careful with that way of thinking since that can easily make someone an easy target from what we seen of DSP and his fanbase.

Honestly believe what you want to believe but the evidence is there, Phil is stupid and greedy and lazy and incapable of any kind of sympathy and empathy.

Besides DSP has a problem with people getting advanced copies of games (a perk he enjoyed for years), not that games are released earlier in certain parts of the world.

Hard disagree. When Phil gets views it’s because he’s raging or there is drama happening. It doesn’t translate into more money so Phil doesn’t care about the view count.

An example the crash team racing play through, reaching up to 1200 views at some points but without any additional money.

I find those people the most dangerous for those type of reasons. Usually I think they are flexing the golden rule and know they probably fucked up at one point in their life that they want others to give them the same treatment.
