Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Forgiving the descent into fiction as political comparison, but what they want is Cardassian-style justice. We've brought this up a few times before in the thread, but there's an episode of Deep Space Nine where O'Brien is put on trial by the Cardassians, and his "advocate" explains how trials there work. The guilty verdict has already been decided before he was ever taken into custody, because after all what sort of abominable justice system would arrest an innocent person? The following extremely public trial is merely to let everyone feel good about the predetermined outcome... it's not about proving anything, judging anything, the state has already made that decision in private and no one needs to know about it because how could the state be wrong? So they get up, they put on a show, the populace nods along and everyone feels good about themselves as the predetermined verdict is read.

Fiction, sure, but doesn't it sound eerily like what they were openly declaring and demanding from Trump's impeachment? "We don't need evidence, we know he's guilty." "He's been impeached, that proves he's guilty." "Why would we need a vote, we know he's guilty." "The senate committed a crime because we know he's guilty."

What Trump "ruined" was the show, the event, the spectacle. He was supposed to collapse wailing and beg forgiveness for his predetermined guilt, throw himself on the mercy of the state, and weep bitterly as he was beheaded live on television. But he just had to go and ruin it by being innocent.
If you want an eerily similar (although obviously less extreme) real-life example, look at Japan's justice system.

(That's all in general, don't sperg at me.) They won't charge you with a crime if they aren't 100% certain they'll get it to stick. But if they do charge, good fucking luck defending yourself or getting an appeal. Acquittals look bad on the justice system (same reason as the Cardassians: "a functioning justice system would never charge an innocent person"), so even if you are innocent if they're charging you you're going to jail. No ifs, no buts, and the appeals system is a nightmare with a very low rate of sentences being overturned.

It's not as cartoonish as the Star Trek example, but it really gives you a better appreciation of the American justice system, as fucked as it may be.

Right, and the defenders of the system claim "Oh, but that's only because they've gathered so much hard, incontrovertible evidence before they ever bring charges." In other words, the system's near-100% conviction rate is treated as proof that the conviction rate is justified, because how could it not be the result of overwhelming evidence? Corruption using this very expectation? How could that be? In fact proponents of Japan's justice system frequently use the supposed overwhelming evidence to suggest that they aren't arresting enough people, because obviously they're letting people with only, say, a 90% chance or a 75% chance of being convicted go free, if that's the case.

It's actually vaguely terrifying when you think about it just how authoritarian the so-called #Resistance is, how deep it goes into their mindset. All their railing and wailing about fascists and Nazis and yet they're openly begging for one-party rule and "benevolent" dictatorship.

Excellent diagnosis, it's scary how the left has adopted the same mindset as everyone and anyone who ever ran a Kangaroo Court in human history: justice is the PROCESS and not the END RESULT. The verdict is a forgone conclusion, the only important part is the humiliation you get to heap on the defendant while you make it "official".

"The case against Trump and all wrong-thinking Americans is open and shut, all that's left, is something to charge them with"
It's why after the Breonna Taylor verdict came back, they all screamed that she didn't get justice.

Her case was brought before a grand jury. Just because the Grand Jury didn't give you the verdict you wanted doesn't mean justice wasn't done.

Justice is when they get the outcome they want.

The fact that they couldn't get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich is proof the allegations were retarded.

Not the first time TOH has mocked an election, but almost definitely the most heavy-handed.

If only he would invade Washington and California and add them to the glorious Trumpenreich.
  • Corrupted Congress
Congress wasn't a corrupt shithole before Trump? I never knew! Also, a surprising lack of Merrick Garland. Could've replaced that Meryl Streep one with him.
  • Wanted to be on Mount Rushmore
Every president does, retard.

Lost? We were fighting a war against China with Hong Kong? Shit, I'm suprised we didn't. It worked out great in Veitnam! and Korea!
  • Put Jared in charge of Mideast
Imagine putting this on here knowing he was actually sucessful where 40 years of DC politicians weren't. I'm a fan of Jared Kushner presents Middle Eastern Peace. I want it renewed for four new seasons, thank you.

Some of these criticisms would be legitimate or valid had it wasn't for the massive "cry wolf" done the past four years.

Given how easy it is to get a Grand Jury to indict (Credit to @Shaka Brah ,the old law school bromide is indeed "A Grand Jury would indict a ham sandwich" ) when one doesn't, it's pretty clear there's absolutely NO evidence of a crime.

Considering that the crooked DA in St Louis still managed to get the McCloskey's indicted for supposedly tampering with evidence when it was the crime lab, under their direct supervision, that got caught messing with the evidence to the degree that the first round of charges were scuttled by the Governor.. well... .. it REALLY says something about how nonexistent any evidence of the cops rappelling through the skylights Mission Impossible-style to murder Taylor in her bed for no reason at all really was.

Despite everyone somehow KNOWING that was exactly what happened....

Some of these criticisms would be legitimate or valid had it wasn't for the massive "cry wolf" done the past four years.

They've lost all objectivity, there can be no simple "bad decisions" there are only war crimes and impeachable offenses.

That one I am completely lost with.

Portland, are they talking about the rioting turned autonomous zone, then fed vans came in?

I fail to see how initiated riots caused by local government is his fault. And lol, an invasion.

He certainly didn't "invade" anything.

As an aside, can somebody explain the legality or strategy of those vans?

It's legal to arrest anybody with a warrant wherever they are whatever they're doing. They use cell triangulation to find them on the street, because like all urban bugpeople they have iphones. By bagging them like that after the riots, it eliminates the risk of harm to police wading into a riot to arrest them.

They're still ongoing as of now. Was that a one time thing after CHAZ? I would think there would be plenty of people to put in vans now.

I'm guessing they were high profile targets. Evidently, they were "random protestors" but even I don't buy that angle.

What is strange is that these people are arrested and released. And no more vans are there.

Most of them were local cell leaders for antifa as far as I understood, but from my understanding the National Lawyer's Guild paid their bail. One even had that shouted at her. Something like "We'll pay your bail!" as she was being carted off.

The more interesting about it is how the left likes to tout about how he's still impeached as a gotcha despite the outcome. I swear they lost their marbles after trump came into being. It makes me question how they're gonna handle future impeachment trials once they're on the receiving end.

Hold the fucking phone.
Diddy said a few months ago that the black vote isn't free and if Biden wants it, he has to pay the toll or "he'll hold the vote hostage" like he's the king of blacks or something. Now he's launching a new black party where you can join no matter Red or Blue but is begging for blacks to vote for Biden? Then it does matter if you're Red or Blue and not black then, you greedy two-faced negro. To quote a skit from Chapelle Show "They should've never gave you [n-word]s money!"

Out of context this looks bad.

Everyone is a lunatic in this. Ex-cop for the original tweet and the TDSer and Trump Supporter playing hot potato with this bait. All of them literally-whos.

Cue the womp womp sound effect for whoever stupidly believed that all blacks hate Trump and re-seated her for some YASS KWEEN clip to pass around Twitter, . :story:

Or Bob Ross.

Personally, I find the idea of using dead people to push your political beliefs to be quite disgusting. Because they cannot speak out against it.

I'm sure there are exceptions, none that I know of, but overall using Mr. Rogers to push ANY agenda defeats his original intent.

It's democrats and neo-activists. It's all they got. If the young and strong won't listen to them because their ideas are that terrible, the weak and the dead certainly will. Guess who unfortunately outnumbers who in the end?

Really Amy Schummer-looking Screechy McCuntface? The Republicans are who they warned you about?

Who's "they"???

What is strange is that these people are arrested and released. And no more vans are there.

It was a mix. Some were arrested then booked, and that's legal whether the vehicle is marked or not. But there were a handful that were "detained" in the vans, frisked, questioned, and released. Because the feds did it, it seems to have been legal.

(The initial video that came out also claimed the feds had unmarked uniforms, but that was untrue as they clearly had CBP patches on the vest. What they didn't have was their own names displayed, but again it was legal since they were feds and not subject to the local identification laws. They did have a trackable ID# displayed, so you could lodge complaints if needed.)

Of course none of that mattered, they all freaked out about "kidnappings in unmarked vans", even though every single known time it happened we got protesters on video saying they were released, or public bookings on charges as a result. But Orange Man was a fascist (and Bad), so the headline screeching must be true.

If I might glow hat a little. I do have suspect that those were covers for some quieter grabs. They were too flashy to be normal procedure, and if the feds knew where to grab them RIGHT THEN, they likely knew where to grab them when they were resting and less likely to cause issue.
So, I suspect they did them, and quietly did some grabs for some other targets who were resting/out of the action. Distract with the flash, get actually high value targets before they are able to figure out what happened.

None of this is on the legality, just something I noticed.

It's not as cartoonish as the Star Trek example, but it really gives you a better appreciation of the American justice system, as fucked as it may be.
China is also like this. Part of the reason for the 98% conviction rate is that Japan doesn't have juries, they have civil 'judges' which is basically what you get if you combine a juror and a judge, but the problem is that Japanese people are so meek that they're afraid to break rank whatsoever, so no matter how they feel about someone, they'll just go along with whatever other people vote, which is usually whatever the first person is convinced to do, making them essentially useless. It's in fact a big problem with their legal system even they acknowledge.

Which....I mean, the Cardassian comparison isn't really far off.

imma take the bait here, go full 🧩 and just answer every single one, because they're stupid without exception.

>Made it okay to shoot hibernating bears

Literally who cares?

>Put children in cages

No, Obama did that, Trump just continued an American tradition.

>Called Mexicans rapists

No he didn't, he called illegal immigrants rapists, and they are.

>Imitated disabled reporter

No he didn't, he imitated a stupid reporter he had no idea was disabled, but it was an amusing twist of fate anyway.

>Looks lousy in a tennis outfit

Who doesn't?

>Can't get wife to hold hand

The existence of Baron Trump makes this ridiculous claim sound like people are jealous they're not bedding a super model.

>Called third world countries ****holes

Because they are. That's why we constantly give them aid.

>Called Tim Cook 'Tim Apple'

Literally who?

>Said Jewish people who vote Democrat are disloyal

I'm gonna give this a freebie and assume he said this: why's it okay for Biden to say the same thing about black people? Are you racist against blacks, or something?

>Showed top secret documents at Mar-A-Lago restaurant

The president has ultimate authority to decide what is and isn't top secret.

>Called white supremacists 'fine people'

No he didn't, but they certainly can be.

>Leaked classified information to Russian ambassador

It isn't leaking when the president does it. That's within his realm of authority. The only problem that came from this was the press leaking that to the public and damaging Israel's trust in the US (it was information involving joint US-Israeli movements in Syria, aka very relevant things for Russia to know about at the time)

>Asked the president of Ukraine to investigate the Bidens

As is his duty, because the Bidens are corrupt.

>Called for China to investigate the Bidens

As is his duty, because the Bidens are corrupt. Why is the president exercising presidential discretion and his duties suddenly a problem?

>Walked into the dressing room at Miss Teen USA pageant

And then? (this didn't happen in the past four years)

>Pressed the Australian prime minister to help Barr investigate Mueller

Because Mueller was corrupt. There's a pattern here to Trump asking for people to be investigated.

>Talked about grabbing *****

LBJ pulled out his Johnson and showed it off in the Oval office and Obama showed off his hard on to a bunch of flight attendants. Crudeness isn't something new for presidents. This also didn't happen in the past four years.

>Lied about the size of his inauguration

So did CNN, who cares?

>Refused to release tax returns

As is his right to.

>Gutted the E.P.A.

Which was strangling our industries and providing no benefit.

>Confiscated and destroyed interpreter's notes after meeting with Putin

Privacy in meetings between world leaders is extremely important. This isn't remotely incriminating, just a method to make sure the MSM didn't blast the private and likely secret topics discussed.

>Tweeted classified photo of Iran missile site

Once again, the president is the ultimate authority on what is and isn't classified.

>Called Baltimore a 'disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess'

Which is absolutely true.

>Described Meryl Streep as 'over-rated'

Because she is. Why are presidents not allowed to have opinions on celebrities?

>Leaked information to the press about the 2017 Manchester arena bombing

For the 500th time, the president is allowed to release any information he wants to as long as it's not private protected stuff.

>Did not attend any White House correspondents' dinner

As well he shouldn't, they're garbage.

>Said Megyn Kelly had 'blood coming out of her whatever'

She probably did. Who cares?

>Called Carly Fiorina 'horseface'

She is one.

>Ruined impeachment

No, that's what the Democrats did, by trying to impeach Trump over hurt feelings.

>Brought Ivanka to the G7 summit

Literally who cares?

>Corrupted Congress

How? The only way Congress has changed since he's gotten into office is getting a Democrat majority in the house and voting Pelosi in as speaker of the house.

....so I guess, indirectly....yes, yes he did. And that's horrible.

>Appointed and didn't fire Betsy DeVos

Obama put forth the Common Core system.

>Put Jared in charge of Mideast

Somehow without a war, though, which is way more important.

>Served McDonald's to Clemson football team

what

>Destroyed democracy

how

>Lost Hong Kong

How is Hong Kong his responsibility? China's treaty is with the UK, not the US. It's their problem (and Hong Kong's) when China breaks it.

>Threatened Marie Yovanovitch

Given the fact that she helped cover up the Biden corruption and was involved in the impeachment sham, threatening her was probably just him following his course of duty. And she got a seven figure book deal out of it. She doesn't need sympathy.

>Pulled the U.S. out of climate agreement

Which disproportionately screwed over the US while not addressing China and their climate abuse at all.

>Allowed bounties on soldiers

Obama allowed assassination of US citizens on US soil, what's your point?

>Invaded Portland

*liberated

>Withdrew from W.H.O.

Because it's hopelessly corrupt and puppeted by China, and is personally responsible for much of the spread of Coronavirus around the world.

>Bragged about knowing the date

what

>Commuted sentences

Like every other president in history, yes.

>Said to swallow bleach

He didn't, so people are free to go ahead and do it in defiance.

>Person, woman, man, camera, TV

this isn't a sentence

>Destroyed post office

I'll take 'another thing the Democrats did that they're blaming on Trump' for $200

>Paid $750 in taxes

who cares?

>Wants third term

FDR had four. So what?

>Wanted to be on Mount Rushmore

And it was fine when Obama wanted to be on there because....?

>And we haven't even said the worst one

russia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
