reddit General

There's a trend going around r/pics right now of average redditors posting their "quirky" shower curtains. Like, you guys are approaching middle-age, and it's so weird to jerk each other off over lame shower curtains in the "lol so random" style of internet humour from nearly a decade ago. Between these, the "Orange Man Bad" boomer-tier memes, the various "I Voted!" selfies, and sob stories tied to random bullshit, reddit is quickly devolving into something even worse than Facebook. I fucking hate redditors so much. Anyway, take a look:
There's nothing wrong with owning something as silly as this, but to post it on social media thinking you're cool for doing so...?
Yeah, exactly. You're never "too old" to have fun (some of the coolest old people I know have a great sense of humor) but it's the internet-hive-mind-asspats that make this weird.

Forgot to mention, why do they feel the need to mention their age, and then go "I have no regrets"? Regret what? Buying a shower curtain?

It just feels so automated.

Where do you even buy weird shit like this? The internet? I just go to the hardware store and buy 5 plain frosted ones, because that's all they sell.

If you search "weird shower curtain" on Amazon, these are both in the first 8 results.

I was going to say it was the same crowd who thought merchandise of mustaches was funny and quirky almost a decade ago, but looking at those ages they'd all still be too old for that.
I think it's the same "type" of people, though. Kind of like how the same kinds of kids who were emos turned into scene kids.

Under this r/worldnews thread concerning the beheaded french teacher (which already got a surprising amount of upvotes considering the attacker) there are a lot of unexpected redpills being dropped:

I know everything will return to the usual drumpfposting after this, but seeing this kind of discourse on reddit of all places surprises me.

This sounds like an insane lie but who knows with cuckservatives.
There are only two stories on Reddit that I think are true, the story of the cum box, because the guy had pictures, and that story about the guy who's wife killed their kids because he wanted a divorce, because it was in the news. All other stories I think are just told to farm karma, because that's all that matters to Redditors.
