Man, they really dropped the ball for the water starter when you compare it to these two.
Why didn't he give the water starter a typing super effective against poison? It's a bit inconsistent when the fire starter is times for effective to the grass one.
Water/psychic is a duel typing that hasn't been done yet (for starters that is). Besides it's not like the starters haven't had the same typing as others.
Well, you're not wrong there. Plus, it could lead to some pretty interesting design choices.
I think the Mudkip/Marshstomp are meant to look more like axolotls, with the side gills? But they don't look quite right without the orange also being on their cheeks and not just in the filaments.
Vulpix is the only pokemon I know that would sort of resemble that white thing, but its only the tails that give that away for me. Also, does the Nidorina (I think thats what that blue one is) have a pouch? Since when has any of that line had pouches, they're not Kangaskans.
The way they drew Vulpix made it look like your typical cat-fox thing, so it was hard to tell. At least the art is a step up from the others around here?
Not that the artist would be right taking that approach seeing as the Mudkip line is based on the mud fish.

I honestly don't really know what to call it, like they just turn all pink and cutesy and friendly? Calling it TF is more fitting but there's just something funnier calling it bimbofication instead.

I guess it's the sorta gimmick of the evil team? It is stated that they use near entirely Fairy types.
That hoop-snake inspired mon just left of center looks pretty original for a snake-mon.
I don't know, personally speaking, I like the idea of these "Buddyized" Pokémon existing somewhere. I only did a bit of skimming through the Wiki, but apparently they were artificially made to have a more friendly appearance akin to an Evil Team that is just Team Plasma but different (if that makes sense). All of them having Fairy typing also makes sense because it is a typing that is associated with friendly Pokémon and themes.
Do I need to say anything on this one? It's funny, it's just funny, I don't even know where to start with this one.
It could also be because they're balloon-like Pokémon (like Driflim), but nah, gotta go further than that.
