That's not really a unique thing but Twitch doesn't really enable it for a lot of people; on Youtube it's much more common and more or less just adds some value to get people to throw money at someone regularly. The one good thing is that it seems for Amelia and Calli, they're making their members-only streams available to the public sometime after they've happened. Amelia made her weird "date" thing available a few days after it happened and Calli made all her members only streams available a few weeks after the fact.

Also, Coco's prestream chat is already a shitshow. Not much can be done about it.

Same thing happened to Ina as well when she played Dead by Daylight with Gura. Killer downed her, carried her to the emergency hatch, dropped her off there, then proceeded to go apeshit on the rest of the survivors while letting Ina escape. Ina also had stream snipers in her Mario Kart stream who were purposely throwing just to make sure she never finished last place.

Meanwhile Kiara talks shit and the KFP absolutely destroys her during Mario Kart. Gotta love that karma.

"Roommate" is usually codeword for "real identity" but I agree that it could be very isolating to be under that kind of social and professional scrutiny all the time.

How could anyone not bully if they encountered a vtuber in the wild? Personally I'd like to take a swing at Botan in an FPS, but she'd likely dunk on me.

What I think astounds most people isn't their popularity, which, fair enough, they hit niche and algorithmic success, but rather how insanely people are donating money towards them in a way that seems almost deranged.

I get enjoying a couple of funny clips and all, but donating full paychecks? What the hell is going in on with people? Why are they such a paypig magnet? It can deffo attract jealousy because most of us have to work for a living and not just stream with a 2D avatar some average gaming content.

Oh, absolutely.

As much as I love the entire crew, if I ever got a chance to play one of the Hololive EN girls in something competitive, I'd probably try to stomp them into the ground as best as I could. If they beat you, then, hey, they earned it. If you beat them, then it's a nice flex for later.

For me it is just something to have on the other screen while doing other shit on the main screen.

But then, theres alot of lonely people that don't really have something else to waste their money on, I hope they have their bills and shit in order atleast.

I had heard people refer to Sachi as Amelia's roommate, I wasn't aware it was anything more than a one-off mention.

I typically only donate for concert streams, especially so if they’ve taken one of my requests. I figure cheap tickets to a real concert would be $5-10, so I’m ok with giving that for one I really enjoy.

But yeah, the crazy paypigs feel like the kind of guys who think if they donate enough $ they might actually have a chance with these girls.

To be fair, I asked similar things about most streamers, including Drunk Lawyer man.
