Sort of like how Sargon is seen as intelligent to some people just solely due to his accent; the same is basically true for Chapo Traphouse.

It's a podcast done by the children of very rich families, larping that they are hard communists and collecting ungodly amounts of cash that they don't spend on anything political. The majority of them barely finished undergrad degrees. None of them are published academically. They are for all intents and purposes, intellectually vapid.

Their level of political discourse is on par with one gets hanging out at a coffee shop on a community college campus.

Also the Jacobin Magazine is the best unintentionally funny website on the planet.

Shoe has mastered the art of "becoming dumb" when there's a chance she might tip her hand and reveal her actual political beliefs. Sargon hits her with something you can't be a feceshitter on, and she's like "oh gosh oh man I don't understandu~". Seeing her caught between her future grift and a fellow "influencer" from her previous grift is such a treat. Chat seems pretty split, I dunno how well this will work out for her, quite a few calls for her to disavow socialism (which she WILL NOT do).
