Today I asked on Phil stream chat something like "Do you guys really enjoy listening to Phil talk drivel for 1 hour on the pre-stream six times a week?" , a lot of people told me to not be negative but the responses that got my attention were the ones saying that its the best moment to chat. I imagine a bunch of retards posting GachiBass kekw and other stupid emotes for an hour,listening to some 38 year old autistic NEET talking drivel as they laugh in their rooms. You have to be a wheelchair to sit for 1 hour in front of your pc posting emotes while listening to Phil lie and beg and consider that having fun.

I'd imagine it's the only consistent time where Phil will deign to interact with his chat on a level that isn't responding to tips (sometimes), demanding help with the game he's playing or banning people. It's the closest his viewers get to the typical/expected twitch experience that one gets watching nearly every other streamer.

He acts like chargebacking is a method that people use to directly reach into his funds and steal them, rather than just being fake tips. At least the former would explain why the months and months of fan pahsitivity just upped and disappeared, right?
I can't wait for all the pahsitivity of the Christmas and New Year's streams to magically evaporate overnight as well. I wonder how long he's just going to keep harping on about chargebacks over and over again.

This is exactly what he's being try to make it seem like. The fucked thing is that a ton of wheelchairs aren't going to understand that it's not taking money from Phil unless he already spent it. (Which we know he did)
The even more fucked thing is that if you listen to Dave, the credit cards are stolen. That means it belongs to someone else, or some other entity. He's mad that the money is being taken back, so he essentially wants stolen money. By his own admission, he would contest a chargeback from a stolen credit card in the hopes of receiving ill-gotten gains.

I totally don't get people who say they don't like him but need phil to talk to their friends. You know there's such a thing as discord and zoom and even another twitch channel and billions of places where you can gather or create your own place to gather with your friends that you can customize just the way you like it right? If you miss phil's snorting that much just pop up a restream or old video to blabber in the background.

Meanwhile, OiC has been gifting subs all night. Phil thanked everyone for all the subs tonight, and said they really help... but that'll be next month, and it sucks because he really needs help NOW (he's not even trying to provide shit reasons like he gave during the early stream).
He then reminded OiC that he is now unbanned from tipping after his name was banned earlier in the week due to the impersonator. Not that he needs to tip; he's been giving so many subs. But just so he knows in case he wants to. Phil then followed that up by saying, out of nowhere, "And there's no sub goal this month."

Hard to say. I feel like he is getting lazier/has run out of viable lies and more transparent as a result. We're used to wading through his deceptions and working with missing information, so this just feels like easy mode now.

Unfortunately for him, his current paypigs are terminally retarded. So while that means they are stupid enough to get scammed by these transparent lies, they also struggle to read between the lines and give him exactly what he wants.

Both, really. But it very much is the former, he is both uncreative and lazy. And his audience only rewards him for putting more and more low-effort into both his streams and his narratives.
Do his viewers know that his spiel is bullshit? I'd say it's more realistic to assume they just don't give a shit whether it is or not. To see things from their point of view, imagine your first thought as you read each and every post on this thread being: "I don't care."

He doesn't have to give a clear reason to his begging, he just has to BE begging so captain whale can feel like the big hero swooping in and getting attention and admiration from their fellows. It's why Phil has latched onto wailing about chargebacks now when he once said they never affected him: It's the only crisis scenario he can currently think of (due in no small part to him retconning his only remaining detractors, such as Tevin and LSB, to be "not so bad" to hype up people like Superhound and Memology). So just keep harping on about it, your streams need to have SOME veneer of drama around them if you want anyone to pay attention to them, fan or hater. They're so boring they'd put a neurotic to sleep otherwise.
His whales latch on to him for some emotional reason, whether contrarianism, seeing themselves in him, or the need for a surrogate father. They don't fucking care how selfishly he treats them.

Most of the time prestream isn't the best part of the stream, but then again, every once in a while you get a boring day stream of like, say, a Minecraft, and then it's tough to beat the prestream just on that basis alone holding back the gameplay portion of the entertainment being offered up.
