So alittle political lesson I remember my crazy uncle ranting about. Lets say you own a bar in a small town. Some people want to run for office on a prohibition platform. They know alot of people in the community are church goers etc.

So what you do is contribute to their campaign buy tickets to their fundraiser etc. Now they arent soo egar to shut you down sure they might talk about reviewing liquor licences etc but they ll leave you alone.

Now lets say all the business in the town that have a liquor licences get together to protect their interests. They forum a businesses association to lobey the city to keep the statuos quo. If you get an outsider like a good church member you spend money on attack ads or smear them.

But no mater who runs you pay them. Republican democrat no matter what both sides get their money.

So big T hires lobbyist DC relations firms, hell send your people to work in GOV for a few years or hell hire people who are connected to come work for you. If a seat flips you give the new guy money and explain that your interests are mearling in doing business your company is not political nor partisan. Oh and you still give money to the loser if he tries to win his seat back you hedge your betts.

The result of this relationship is that both sides dont want to lose your money. So both sides have an interest to not FUCK you.

The growing TDS in big tech companies like what happened with coinbase, etc. Is a threat to this relationship. A company that openly declares itself partisan is painting a huge target on its back because now the otherside will see that knee capping will knee cap the Opposition.

Because making them fuck up and catching them in a public lie would do much more damage to them. If he releases it 10 days before election day -- which, by the way, Biden just called lids for up until then -- then any denials or lies about what they did are that much more damaging.

It's plausible. I've seen some pretty bone-headed security howlers in my life by people who should know better. And one thing I have learned about security is there are a LOT of things to track and if you don't have professionals managing this stuff, mistakes happen. Sometimes dumb ones like not realizing iCloud will sync things between your computers or even that a tech person has access to your files without your password. Not that I suspect Hunter Biden is the sort of person who has a complex password. We also assume that Hunter Biden is someone who cares deeply about the house of cards not collapsing. I don't know what traumas he has gone through in life to make him like this but he doesn't come across to me as someone who is a master of his own fate. Could he, in a bad state, drop off a laptop and then just never bother to pick it up again? It's not like you or I where it matters to him that he's out a laptop. Probably picked up another one on his way home without a second thought and only dropped the first one in so he could get his files off it or something.

In any case, I agree it's a wild tale but it's not implausible and the NY Post and Guiliani probably wouldn't be sticking their neck out like this without a lot of confidence.

That's my theory for pizzagate / Epstein, if nothing else. It lets you bait and switch anyone not paying close attention (e.g., focusing on refuting a few specific points of the Biden scandal to sweep the whole thing away).

Steve Bannon says that Hunter's attorney (George Mesires) called and sent emails to the same repair shop in possession of the hard drive and requested it be turned over immediately. He mentions that Murdoch and the NY Post could get sued to hell if their reporting was not accurate and that they do in fact have the accurate metadata confirming the emails authenticity, that Biden's campaign is aware the potential countersuit would mean a treasure trove of discovery related materials being leaked for all to see.

He also goes on to say that they are in fact doing a slow trickle of leaks in order to catch the MSM and Biden campaign in further lies, a strategy he says he learned from Andrew Breitbart (RIP ).

Edit: The Biden campaign's response of "We have reviewed his official calendar and did not find a formal meeting meeting at that date like the one described" seems so weak in comparison to the emails sent to Hunter thanking him for the opportunity to meet his dad. If Bannon is telling the truth those same emails should soon have their authenticity verified. I'm going out on a limb here but to me that response just sounds like a standard political cop out that creates just enough reasonable doubt to sound convincing without actually discrediting the claims knowing full well further data leaks could implicate him further. I like how in these stories Russia is always this amorphous being. They can't pin it to Putin or a specific oligarch because then they'd have to substantiate their assertions.
