According to the legbutts, main motive for suicide was depression over not passing.
Ironically, EFchan looks more like a woman than 99% of the euphoric AGPs in this thread.

Eventually they can get there but they have to go through the other stages of grief before acceptance hits, and it takes acceptance that this empty vessel in its hideousness and perversion will never be restored to what he was before, and lbr, they must also accept the vessel was always empty, and what they thought he was never really existed.

You've pretty much answered your own question. If they leave they not only lose a husband, a second adult to help with child-care, a second income, but also all their friends who will think they're awful people for leaving in his time of need. To those supportive "friends" it's on the level of breaking up with him when he gets a terminal cancer diagnosis or saying you'll only love him if he acts like he doesn't have brain cancer again. And there's a whole narrative of "he's just acting out now because he just came out, just stick with him and he'll go back to being a good parent and a productive member of society!" So they're told by all and sundry to wait it out, that they're horrible monsters if they leave, and that they are responsible for his happiness which is more important than their own.

It's insidious as all hell but it's not a mystery.

Plus most normies don't know much trans issues, let alone troons. Most likely they have heard about the born in wrong body narrative and maybe something about the toilets but beyond that have no idea what's in store when they get the news. This was far away issue untill now so they are in loss what to do. They might try to find out but are unlikely to find anything that isn't troon friendly and advicing them be supportive. This just being transtional period, large changes always being uncomfortable and after that high stress calms down everyone will be happier. So they naively try to go for it, in sickness and health principle, only to find the horror of troons.

Even forgetting kids, custody, and that some of these women are SAHMs who now have to get a job for the first time in 10 years in an economy where no one is hiring, just leaving and taking your shit with you is a logistical nightmare. There's no "rent a moving van" "ask a friend with a truck" or "fuck it I'll just buy a new bed when I get to my new place" because you have no friends and you have no money. You can't get an apartment because your spouse has absolutely trashed your credit score and wiped out your savings. And not everyone has a family they can bounce back to when shit gets raw.

I remember of a post I saw on r/itsafetish (RIP) of a deleted post from another sub from a mother asking for advice about her troon son.. The general summary was that the daughter suspected her brother was going into her room and either taking her clothes or doing nasty things with them. Mother and father ignored her complaints, so the daughter got a security camera put into her room. And lo and behold, her brother would come in and mastubate and ejaculate into her clothes and underwear (and who knows what else, since the mother didn’t go into detail). The parents then were at a loss of what to do once they saw the footage. They recognized that it was disturbing behavior and causing the daughter to feel violated and unsafe. But since the son was a troon, instead of kicking the son out immediately and getting him therapy, the mother was at a loss of what to do because the whole “well they’re trans so maybe he’s doing this for other reasons that aren’t perverted?” and because she didn’t want to be labeled a transphobe for kicking him out.

Thankfully, the mother came to r/itsafetish when they put her deleted post on there, and the ladies helped convince her that it indeed was a sick thing to be doing and not normal in the slightest. Just because the son was a troon didnt excuse his behavior, and she needed to prioritize the safety of her daughter over the trooned out son. So, thankfully reason won and she told her troon son that he could no longer live at home,

It just disgusts me that a mother would ignore her gut instincts and her own daughter, and to question what is clearly disturbing and deviant behavior, all because “well they say they’re trans”.

This is why the trans ideology is so dangerous. Because dangerous predators like Barbie Kardashian, Jonathon Yaniv, pedophiles, and rapists are given so much leeway because trans ideology thinks men who want to be women somehow change their ways or HRT magically cures their homicidal or rapist thinking, and they are no longer a threat to society.
