Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

John Harwood is a political correspondent for the White House. He's one of the dudes who earns a paycheck by specifically reporting on matters pertaining to the White House, and this is how unhinged his view of the world is. This is why the media can't produce a sane story and why they fall for every ridiculous Gorilla Channel scandal that lands on top of their laps: They're fucking stupid.

It's more disheartening that anything. Most people probably on this board could put out a more more accurate description of what happens in the press room. But you, working that 9-5 job flipping burgers are worthless next to someone who just peddles establishment talking points. It's quite depressing in a way.

I'll believe it when he's indicted on it, and not a second sooner. This reeks of bullshit, and like opportunism. Do I think its impossible? Nah, far form it, if any one involved in this election has done it, it'd be Biden's monumental fuckup of a son. But come on, this is "Anonymous Source Says" but from the right.
Sounds like well-poisoning. "You'd have to be crazy to believe this Biden stuff!"

There would be little reason to poison the well. Their through line is already "Its false, based on a stolen laptop, which no one can see to confirm and they keep hidden because it would prove them wrong".

They pretty well covered their bases without a need to make shit up about its contents.

It's performative. Their base doesn't know that he said that, because that info is censored from them. It's like how they found (pre-COVID) that MSNBC made you less informed about the state of the economy, because if you listened to them, you literally have a view that was the exact opposite of reality.

Pelosi and Joe are pretending to be retarded because his base is just that uninformed -- and there's millions if not tens of millions of bucks going out to ensure it stays that way.

I think it's worth considering that Pelosi and Biden are often just as misinformed as the media/voters are. They're often bouncing back and forth the same talking points and when one hears the talking point repeated the other sees it as confirmation that the talking point was true. Even many with the GOP like Sasse end up repeating media talking points, which the media then takes as confirmation that those talking points were true. In the process of bouncing back and forth these talking points, they leave out nuggets of truth that could make Trump look good (or at least make they themselves look bad) and end up crafting a worldview that matches what they wanted to believe.

"This was their finest hour"
This feels like something that would get posted ironically to mock reddit users, it being unironic is just embarrassing. Even more so seeing that it has multiple awards plus upvotes that mean other people also unironically like it. I found the actual post and the comments are even more embarrassing to read through, Portland sounds like an awful place to live if this is a good sample size of how the people there behave.

I think they're envious that, unlike their chosen candidate, Biden, (and a lot of others too), he has a family that manages to just stay on the sidelines without turning into insufferable political baggage or corrupt coke-snorting buffoons.

The left can't stand that not only won't Trump step in a scandal, but, neither will any of his immediate relatives drag him into one either, through direct action or damage-control.

Remember how they roasted Baron? A kid? Who did literally nothing except spring from the loins of their own personal anti-Christ? Calling him everything from mentally unbalanced to a born sexual predator? With no evidence?

Or that they constantly harass Ivanka for not doing anything? Again, literally not doing anything? As in the half-dozen shrewish wives of current D Governors and Senators are trying to destroy her because if she successfully completes her tenure as a be-seen-but-not-heard First Lady? Holding a symbolic position without being an important cog in the machinery of government? Wrecking the precedent of politicizing the position?

Well, then their dreams of throwing their weight around Capitol Hill when their husband wins is gifted his Presidency in the future are dead on arrival, aren't they? You can hear the Karen's screeching :She's DISMANTLING FEMINISM RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES AND WE CAN'T STOP IT!" between bottles of wine.....

Conventional wisdom for 200 years has held that a populist yokel President would be a disaster from stem to stern. Whining from the populace that the elite were ignoring them was met with a condescending "Look, this is just how government WORKS. We don't have the time to waste on obsolete rustbelters, we have a utopia to build. You don't like it? Tough. Only through carefully curated and polished figures can government flow, be happy it gives you ANYTHING. WHy, imagine how bad it would be if some random off the street had the office, he'd wreck the economy and blow up the world while you starved. We simply can't give you what you want, no one can, be happy for your table scraps for it would only get worse if you defy us." And when it turned out that a "guy off the street" was average at worst, even with everything thrown at him and anyone within six feet of him? Their worst nightmare came true: People who don't like the establishment have a proven viable alternative to the machine.

Ironically, if they would just focus on being popular themselves instead of trying to take down the opposition through every ratfuck measure in the book, they might actually succeeded.

But that's why they go bonkers that they can't find any dirt, their power is vast, but, it can't create the one thing that they envy the most: Power through RESPECT instead of by compulsion, I.E> - loyalty.

Which means people will support you on their own volition and don't need to be bought or scared off..... if they'd cultivated such trust in the proletariat for their 50 years of institutional power, they might have had it by now, but instead, they became the out-of-touch plutocrats of every morality play on the corrupting influence of power... when the citizens finally rise up against you, "I AM YOUR KING" is the last, and least effective, defense.

That is the root of all their hate of Trump, and his "court" - they inspire LOYALTY, in only 4 years, when the previous King reigned for 60 years with an iron fist, but was forgotten overnight.
Your stirrings gave me a thought. Who's worse off than they were in 2016?
I don't know if Trump's made a substantive difference for Middle America, but he's sure thrown the more despondent communities a lifeline. From where I'm standing the feminists, urban socialists and tech moguls are his most vociforous opposition, but what policies has Trump enacted to make war on them? LA, NYC, Chicago, Minneapolis, they've all been made unlivable by mayoral and gubernatorial decisions. Trump didn't write an executive order demanding specific state taxes go up, or dictate how they respond to domestic terror, and he's been impotent with regard to tech oligarchs.
So what gives? The closest thing to a cope I've seen from any of them is protestors and criminals have a right to make things worse because Trump's the president, completely outsourcing responsibility out of the hands of every elected official on a local and state level

Every morning when I drive to work, Blue area, I pass this corner where there’s loads of political signs. If I’m early enough, I’ll see a TRUMP/PENCE sign.
Every time I drive home, it’s vanished. Then by the next day or so, it’s back.
I like to believing it’s the same two guys fighting this unseen war.

"Fuck you Donnie" holy fuck I'm legit on the verge of tears from laughing for 10 minutes straight. This motherfucker out here living in a teen film where he's finally had enough of the school bully and stands up to him, the bully crumples in front of the whole school, and all the kids clap and he's the new cool kid in school that all the cheerleaders want to fuck.

Pure HS nerd fantasy. I'd forgive this level of whatever from first time voters who still think this is ultra important, but you know all these speds are 30+ years LMFAO.

What gets me is they don't even call him Donald or Trump, they just use a silly sounding nickname instead. It really amps up the childish factor of the whole thing.

They are literally incapable of seeing him as anything other than the cartoonishly evil/stupid caricature they’ve been conditioned to. Referring to him as anything other than “Donnie” would make their fucking brains burn with cognitive dissonance.

Seeing so much of this melodramatic ballot mail drop virtue signaling on my social media is like.....wow congrats, you've discovered how absentee voting works. By the way, your vote doesn't matter shit anyway because the states you and most of your friends live in are deep blue.

Also as an Asian it's annoying to see stuff from Asian SJWs that basically amounts to "Vote to avenge your immigrant ancestors who were oppressed by the ebil wypipo like drumpf" as if we all of sudden gained voting rights that we mysteriously never had before in 2020.

Holy crap Hahahaaha.
I'm so glad I got off Reddit, there was so much insanity there that I realized even Kiwifarms, a place full of dudes making fun of dudes, was less crazy than that site.
I gotta say though, GRU getting shut down was the funniest thing I had ever seen on reddit. The idea that a simple word can make someone angry to destroy whole communities is fairly amusing, to me, at least.

Literally the second half of this video is

"TRUMP ADMINISTRATION IS LITERALLY IDIOCRACY"

Wow, a take that even Mike Judge himself made. How will Drumpf ever recover?

I also used reddit for all of two months, before I realized it was a cesspool of self-righteousness. As you said, one single quip and boom, yer banned, get negative karma and the like.
Seriously, even subs for searching online jobs and emulation were pozzed with hunts for wrongthink and how awful whatever we got is.
I tried my hand at browsing The_Donald, but after a while the schtick of worshipping the guy and praising people like Alex Jones and Ben Shapiro got tiresome. I only went there to get something that wasn't pure bile about US politics, not the exact opposite. Redditors deal in absolutes, no matter the political affinity, plain and simple. And one of the last things I wanna become is a mindless drone of any politician.
