I think they're envious that, unlike their chosen candidate, Biden, (and a lot of others too), he has a family that manages to just stay on the sidelines without turning into insufferable political baggage or corrupt coke-snorting buffoons.
The left can't stand that not only won't Trump step in a scandal, but, neither will any of his immediate relatives drag him into one either, through direct action or damage-control.
Remember how they roasted Baron? A kid? Who did literally nothing except spring from the loins of their own personal anti-Christ? Calling him everything from mentally unbalanced to a born sexual predator? With no evidence?
Or that they constantly harass Ivanka for not doing anything? Again, literally not doing anything? As in the half-dozen shrewish wives of current D Governors and Senators are trying to destroy her because if she successfully completes her tenure as a be-seen-but-not-heard First Lady? Holding a symbolic position without being an important cog in the machinery of government? Wrecking the precedent of politicizing the position?
Well, then their dreams of throwing their weight around Capitol Hill when their husband wins is gifted his Presidency in the future are dead on arrival, aren't they? You can hear the Karen's screeching :She's DISMANTLING FEMINISM RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES AND WE CAN'T STOP IT!" between bottles of wine.....
Conventional wisdom for 200 years has held that a populist yokel President would be a disaster from stem to stern. Whining from the populace that the elite were ignoring them was met with a condescending "Look, this is just how government WORKS. We don't have the time to waste on obsolete rustbelters, we have a utopia to build. You don't like it? Tough. Only through carefully curated and polished figures can government flow, be happy it gives you ANYTHING. WHy, imagine how bad it would be if some random off the street had the office, he'd wreck the economy and blow up the world while you starved. We simply can't give you what you want, no one can, be happy for your table scraps for it would only get worse if you defy us." And when it turned out that a "guy off the street" was average at worst, even with everything thrown at him and anyone within six feet of him? Their worst nightmare came true: People who don't like the establishment have a proven viable alternative to the machine.
Ironically, if they would just focus on being popular themselves instead of trying to take down the opposition through every ratfuck measure in the book, they might actually succeeded.
But that's why they go bonkers that they can't find any dirt, their power is vast, but, it can't create the one thing that they envy the most: Power through RESPECT instead of by compulsion, I.E> - loyalty.
Which means people will support you on their own volition and don't need to be bought or scared off..... if they'd cultivated such trust in the proletariat for their 50 years of institutional power, they might have had it by now, but instead, they became the out-of-touch plutocrats of every morality play on the corrupting influence of power... when the citizens finally rise up against you, "I AM YOUR KING" is the last, and least effective, defense.
That is the root of all their hate of Trump, and his "court" - they inspire LOYALTY, in only 4 years, when the previous King reigned for 60 years with an iron fist, but was forgotten overnight.
