I honestly had no inkling that politics was part of their breakup, I figured one or both got bored of the other which was exacerbated by the weird and extremely juvenile sexual and social dynamic they seemed to have. Their politics appeared to match up pretty damn closely. Now though with Greg's deletion of twitter and focus on apolitical content, I do wonder if June not being able to shut up about politics had something to do with it. Even people who agree with you on politics don't want to talk about it all the time.

I think the discord leaks and conversations with shortfatotaku have shown that she has indeed slid further left but doesn't want to admit it out of fear of losing her simps. The phrase "Trans x are x" has been misused and misappropriated for the most bizarre statements imaginable. The idea behind "Transmen are men" or "Transwomen are women", regardless of your actual stance on trans individuals, is meant to be a linguistic trick reaffirming one's gender identity, preventing the otherizing of TRANSmen or TRANSwomen in settings where the label is unnecessary, to better apply focus on normal socialization as the opposite sex, and normalize their existence in general. It is not meant to be a literal statement applied to every possible context where men and women are distinguished. It's all about socialization and essentially lying to oneself, but there are always places where it is simply impractical or otherwise nonsensical to apply it.
