Get addicted to booze. Withdrawals aren't fun, nor are seizures. Also if you become a full blown alcoholic, expect your entire life to go downhill. It'll numb you for a bit, but that's all it does, the drawbacks are not worth it.

Fall into gambling. Gambling is a fun social hobby every now and then, but make sure to keep it as that and nothing more. Gambling while drunk is also a very bad idea, you're gonna wake up missing several hundred dollars.

Alcohol is a weird one. I drink every friday whether I want to or not, but the second I make it through friday, Ive no interest. I hung out with Americans who drank every friday 3 AM my time, who were all 4-5 years older than me, so now I just associate friday drinking with fun. Or rather, the chance to miss out on fun by not being drunk.

Thing is, I install a bunch of games, yell at music, insult friends on Discord and wake up hungover, wasting the next day. I don't think i necessarily drink a lot, just not in a healthy manner.

I figured this thread would mostly just get me shit on (can't exactly say I was wrong) but it's posts like this why I even made the thread. Thank you friend, it was very informative and I actually didn't know quite a bit of that. Hopefully someone else viewing the thread puts that info to use as well.
