I'd argue that if someone's life has degraded to the point where they felt the need to drink that much to cope with it in the first place they might very well be better off dead.
You're not exactly wrong. It can happen alot more easily than you think though. Pay a visit to rehab and you'll definitely meet people that make you wonder how a person can fall so far but still fight for life. Honestly some of the most genuine and honest people I've ever met was through rehab. Those who have fallen to addiction aren't usually bad people. They tend to be extremely kind, but have no idea how to cope with stress.



From the moment we are born, to our final breath, we are flawed. There is no such thing as "perfection".
