Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? I'm genuinely curious what they're doing to him in terms of medication and other therapies to make him coherent for 90 minutes like the last debate. I think it was two days after the previous debate he was back and speaking on the campaign trail and he was a complete mess again, mumbling his words, making weird mistakes and forgetting things. During the debate he seemed pretty good, I was honestly surprised. I think the Trump interrupted him too often and Wallace stepped in immediately also, will be interesting to see what happens next debate.

Replacing Biden on the ticket with someone else who hasn't won the primaries won't sit well with anyone but DNC hacks who don't think people should be allowed to vote on a candidate in the first place. I just don't think there was any one person or faction in the DNC/Biden Campaign strong enough to force a change after Biden got the nomination. I think there's a lot of infighting going on for control and no one's come out clearly on top, so the only consensus between the personalities and the factions was to keep Biden and kick the can down the road. And now, the end of the road is in sight and it's too late to do anything but muddle along and hopefully eke out a win, at which time the infighting will start all over again between those that want to keep Biden as a puppet and those that want to 25th Joe and prop up Harris' wide ass in the Presidential Office Chair.

A good example would be despite posting overt lies such as the "very fine people" scandal, how many times has social media censored a Biden post? I know the answer, I've been counting. Social media has censored over 60 of Trump's messages and I've lost track of how many times an account was banned shortly after he retweeted them. The number of times Joe Biden has been forcibly censored by Twitter, had his posts "contextually clarified" or had his posts outright deleted?

Zero. It has literally never happened.

There's something I can't help but notice, though. They've rigged everything. The polls, the media, every news outlet they can touch, every Hollywood actor they can wrangle, every institution they can flood with know-nothing college kids, every local judiciary (lol good luck, you ignored Mitch), every pathway they could find to try and shore up massive voter fraud through mail-in ballots, you name it, they rigged it or did their damnedest to push the needle as far as they could in Joe's favour.

And yet, they're still horrified. They're projecting absolutely no confidence whatsoever. They're begging people to go out and vote, they're screaming at them to go out and vote. They tell us they have it all in the bag, but in the same breath, even Joe Biden's own campaign manager is saying, "Oh my god please go out and vote, the polls are lying!"

If the fix is in and Joe's way up in the polls, why are they acting so scared?

There is no way Trump wouldn't spend every day of the campaign leading up to the election night attacking the legitimacy of this dictated candidate. It'd be a fucking disaster.

As much as I'd like to believe that the Biden campaign is in chaos and we'd see some golden cuffs walked out to really make 2020 the wildest of timelines, I just don't see it happening. Even if all of it is true, there is still no better course than to hope they can just gaslight the entire American people and suppress everything until they've won, and then throw out some presidential pardons and breathe easy.

Never going to happen. The DNC has 2 weeks to ride this out and if they were to shift to another candidate outside of Joe Biden's death or other life threatening issues it then falls to Kamala to step up as their next candidate. The optics will absolutely destroy them if they pulled out biden and put in another, no Biden has to die/serious illness in order to be pulled. If he has a heart attack live on the debate stage that might be enough.

No way, they cannot change who's on the ballot. It's legally impossible for states to move someone onto or off the ballot after a certain date that's now long past. Once agreed on, the ballot can't be changed; this is to make sure that states can't remove a candidate they don't like from the ballot. It protects both parties so neither will want to change that rule. It especially applies after people have started casting votes. Whatever happens, Joe's on the ballot. Even if he died, they'd just tell people "vote for Joe and Harris will get the presidency."

The arguments I've seen are that NYP is a tabloid, so obviously this story is total bullshit and it's okay for it to be censored.
