This "Russian disinformation" angle is hilarious, and not just because they found 50 fuck-ass random retirees to sign some dipshit letter instead of asking the actual Director of National Intelligence, who denies it's Russian propaganda, but rather because it makes no fucking sense. Here, pick up your Occam's razor and let's run through two scenarios:

1. Russia got a MacBook, changed the serials to match Hunter Biden's, filled it full of fake emails and texts, convinced the people who weren't actually participating in those emails to verify them, got their hands on a bunch of selfies with Hunter in a bath tub and with meth pipes or just Photoshopped all of these pictures. This Russian uber-spy then takes the laptop to Delaware to some random fix-it store, impersonates Hunter Biden and forges his signature, forges a Federal Grand Jury Subpoena, and then waits for an entire year for Rudy Giuliani to come and pick it up.​

Despite all of this obvious and awe-inspiring forgery, Joe Biden's camp still won't come out and deny the evidence or claim it's been falsified.​

I mostly agree, but define "work." The emails almost certainly did materially hurt Hillary, and I'm sure these will hurt Biden to at least some degree. It appears to have forced him and many of his intermediaries to stop campaigning 2 weeks out from the election, which is not great for him. Yeah his campaign has been lackluster anyway, and he has been calling early lids forever. However, even if he was going to call this 4 day lid anyway, this scandal makes it look worse than it otherwise would have.

If by work you mean get him to drop out of the race, make him lose by double digits in the popular vote, or get him arrested or something then yeah I agree they won't work

What if the real danger in Hunter's emails is exposing the cleanup crew, and since Guiliani (and therefore Trump) has their information, they've been preemptively neutralized? Speaking from experience, I knew someone who got a DUI but it was absolutely not the first time they drove drunk. It happened all the time, and one time in particular I accidentally saved their ass from being charged by getting to them before the cops did and taking the keys off them. Union legal aid helped them get a reduced sentence.
And then they continued to drink and drive afterwards before catching another charge a few years later. Union and family helped them get another reduced sentence.
And still to this day they're driving without a license. If they were caught every time they broke the law, they'd never get out of jail. And if they didn't have family and the union to bail them out, they'd have been punished more severely.

Slightly off topic but given that fact that we know google is hostile to ideological outsiders, and we know they monitor everything associated with their services down to DM's and Gmail message content, it's worth examining ways to remove google from your life whenever possible. I've moved away from all google services, aside from the occasional search and youtube, and it wasn't as painful as I had expected. There's excellent replacements for just about everything google offers. YouTube still lacks a non-google equivalent but services like bitchute are slowly catching up in terms of features and content. Even Android users can limit google interactions by flashing a custom ROM such as LineageOS and using MicroG as a replacement for Google Services / Open GApps. I think it goes without saying that big tech social media like facebook, twitter, ticktock, etc, are all in the same boat and should also be avoided.

The average person won't be able to fully eliminate reliance on google services but they can get damn close without too much discomfort. Maybe this new lawsuit will make the process of de-googling even easier in the future.
