Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

When one announces their birthday in conjunction with openly arrogating themselves as the future president, time sort of distorts itself in the face of such hubris to ensure that they don't get elected and their pride is broken.

They appear to be writing signatures. At 38:40 there is a woman signing several parts of a document with her name. No reason to raise the alarm, it is most likely some verification of receipt and completion of the ballot.

Also, who the fuck would risk charges of voter fraud to rig the election in Maryland? It ain’t a battleground state.

Early ballots in my blue bubble are ten times higher than they were at the same point four years ago: ~16,000 vs. ~160,000. I have no idea how this will affect swing states, but I'm skeptical of reports that Biden voters aren't showing up to vote early.

Why is this surprising? In person voting has been shat on horrendously by the Dems this year. It's basically a partisan act to vote in-person.

Doesn't help that the guy looks around before doing as though he's checking to see no one is watching. Probably nothing though.

Honestly though, I feel like no one should be allowed to mark those ballots in anyway. If you were dumb enough not to fill in the circle or half filled it, x or whatever then tough shit to you of your ballot isn't read.

Its expected for them to vote early. The problem is, if all of them vote early then you dont have enough to overtake all the republicans coming to vote the day of.

Every single poll has acknowledged that dems will be be overwhelmingly voting early and that Truml is going to get a 50-70 point turn out on election day. That's Nate speaking btw, not a Trump friendly pollster. Biden needs atleast a 30 point lead going in to election day and right now he is tied in most states or has at most a 10 point lead. Something needs to change in the next 10 days or we might be looking at a Trumpslide.

There is a close house of rep race here in Maryland that should be a slam dunk for dems. It is the district that Elijah Cummings held before he passed. Usually the Dems will win with 70 percent of the vote at least but the current poll has them at 50 to 45.
