This to me is one of the things that annoys me most about leftist politics. They are too quick to assume everything bad happening is due to racism, which is typically an oversimplification of ongoing problems. That isn’t to say racism doesn’t exist, but to attribute it to nearly everything makes light of racism itself. With all the race politics going on these days, I have a feeling that progressives have done more to create actual racists than David Duke could dream of. If these people had any sense, they’d stop attacking white people for the color of their skin, because that’s partly why white nationalism has gone on the rise. If people didn’t feel attacked for their identity, they would have no reason to feel the need to defend it.
It’s a conversation for another day but reading through this thread has me wondering ’why MSM TDS?’ What is in it for the media to be so hateful, their ratings are plummeting, the public doesn’t trust them and I’m not sure how the cable networks are going to recover. Wouldn’t it have been a better bet to support the President, a guy they used to love!

That's just the speed of the news cycle. It's not so much deliberate memory-holing as it is the public having the memory span of a gnat with a concussion.
It's also due to the fact that every week for the past 4 years has seen A BOMBSHELL THAT WILL BRING DOWN ORANGE HITLER, a new executive order that kill all trannies, or own the libs for good. It's literally Boy Who Cried Wolf tier shit. Everything has been hyped up to be the biggest thing ever and none of it has really mattered. Nobody really cares anymore.

The way their affirmative action programs are structured are guaranteed to not fix any of the problems they are trying to solve too. You generally don’t have ghetto black kids benefitting from college admissions, you have middle and upper class black kids who don’t need the help. I think most Americans would find it acceptable if affirmative action and other programs were based on need and income rather than race.

I worked in an elections office before (am not this year) and there was nothing special about the pens used to fill it out. It just had to be black or blue for the machine to be able to pick it up and we had a ton of pens on hand that were all the same with black ink to give out in case anyone had issues.
Even with record spending for Robert O'Rourke against Ted Cruz they couldn't get their guy in. They're just expecting it to happen because voters are mobilized while ignoring the possibility of the republicans/right being just as mobilized, if not more.
