Trump's a businessman. If Joe and the DNC come to him to cut a deal to let Hunter survive, he might take it. A second term with the DNC not obstructing him in exchange for Trump dropping the Hunter thing and letting the FBI quietly hide it. It's that hypocrisy that bothers me more than the corruption itself. I expect corruption from the bottom to the top, so when I see glimpses of it being revealed its disheartening but not surprising. But the vast number of people who ignore facts when they're inconvenient and skew their perception of reality to fit their spoon fed world narrative has reached a point where it's scary. It infects both sides - democrats and republicans - although the left seem to have it worse. I'm not going to pretend to understand why it's happening, but it leaves me feeling very uneasy.
