Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

And then there's me, who's now trying to figure out if you physically could bludgeon a fish underwater.
You can. Sort of. I think. Back when I was a kid one of my cousins dropped a rock about the size of a paving stone off a bridge, into a river. Once the water settled, we could see a mid-sized fish bobbing on the surface. We just assumed it was near the surface and the rock hit it on the way down hard enough to either stun or kill it. Either way, it got carried down the river by the current.

This has been Reminiscences From Battle Creek, with Corn Flakes. Now back to our regularly scheduled Trump Derangement Syndrome.

And I still can't consider myself a conservative, but the left has become so insane, authoritarian, and destructive, I can't be part of it any more. So I'm politically homeless. But I'll emerge from my self-made, TDS-free Fortress of Solitude to vote for Trump, because four more years of him is significantly less horrifying a prospect than a Kamala Harris presidency.
I feel the same way. At least you're not in school. It's EVERYWHERE.

Every other day, I get text messages telling me to register and vote for Biden. Or do these political surveys about how's the economy and whatnot.

It's not like I keep up with current television or movies, but now these Trump references are blatant and distasteful.

And don't even get me started on social media. It's one thing to be politically informed, it's another thing entirely to have it run your life.

I don't even like Trump; I despise that man. But God damn, people hate him on another level.

It's not like the other side is better, just less frequent. They idolize that man like he's the Second Coming.

Politics now has seeped into daily life, it's damn near impossible to get away from it less you isolate yourself. The mental gymnastics people use to defend their choice of candidate sometimes interferes with their own logic.

People deal with enough weight on their shoulders, they don't need more people condensing them or preaching at them because they turn on the television.

I would say vote third party, but that vote won't even matter because the two party system has monopolized democracy in this country.

No TES is an intelligent and rational forum of discourse for attractive people who aren't kool-aid drinking Trump cultists but I guess you didn't know that because you're too afraid to go there and get disagreed with.

Come on now. You're supposed to put effort into the trolling. Lazy bait is bad form, old sport.

Okay, once again...

Just to save us the pointless arguing with bait.

Just coming in here to let you guys know that @Dyn posted the same thing in our thread, only it was the opposite. You probably gathered that, but I just wanted to be sure because we have a pretty solid agreement about not invading the other's thread and I don't want it to end
@Dyn is the best of us shut your whore mouth.

I agree. Derailment is annoying.

I had a feeling. Thanks for the heads up though.

Fucking hell, another staple of my childhood raped by Current Year shenanigans.

What's next? He-Man? Gargoyles? Bobby's World? Uh, better not give them any more ideas...
Going to be perfectly honest with you, that was the least cringy part of the season. The anime satire part was like dated by 20 years and was woefully out of touch. They also missed matching the anime style and did worse than Christopher Hart. The South park anime satire episode was made years ago and is still somehow more relevant and better done.

This is year 3 of 20 year plan to have Joe Biden tweet #gamergate
That's how the 2001 remake is going to end. He's going to be laying in bed and as the monolith stares over him he's going to yell into his futuristic amazon alexa to take one last note. Alexa readies the social media account and with one last breath before the plunge into the great hereafter he says post "gamergate was right". And then suddenly a bright light over takes the room and he is reborn anew.
