Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

I didn't think organ donation for anencephalic infants was still a thing, since there are a whole lot of ethical issues there.

You do have to take them out while the infant's still breathing due to the fact that the organs suffer ischemic damage in infants incredibly quickly, which would make them not viable for transplant. Shitty situation all around.
Not a thing in any country or just the US? Why is it unethical for something that only has a brainstem? How can it be considered a person with no brain? Why can't the parents choose whether they want to donate the baby's organs when it's their own child? Are organs from babies under 6 pounds less useful than bigger baby organs.
To think they lived over two decades, and still were probably not aware of most (if any) of it. It's like a photo mashup of an infant, a toddler, and a grown man's head.
Crazy enough, that creature is actually female. It also happened in South Korea which makes me wonder if they kept her alive because they were Catholic. There's a lot of Catholics in SK.
Jesus christ. I feel incredibly sorry for how his life was/is like. Constantly tied to some tubes and in a permanent diaper, when you should be going to college or some shit. Though, I must askー what the fuck happened to his limbs?
That is a girl.
What's the date on that? Whole genome sequencing aint exactly cutting edge anymore.
I think it should be a lot more common. There are so many low IQ people that have curious features that should be investigated.

Donated organs from a baby weighing less than 6 pounds would be useful for research, but not for transplantation.

I don't think it's on YT any more, but there was a couple who found out their baby had anencephaly, and they compiled a "Bucket List" for certain things he would never get to do after he was born, and they did do most of those things before he was born. IIRC, he was stillborn, and they were able to spend some time with him before they surrendered his body to scientific research. There are some other "Bucket List Babies" but I couldn't find that particular video.

People of normal or even superior intelligence should also have their genes examined, if they want to. They might find out some interesting things about themselves.

I saw that "Nicky, the 40-year-old child" show back when it aired on the Discovery Channel (or something like it) before they went to showing things like Honey Boo Boo. Now, THAT'S a genetic mutation of a family if ever I saw one.

FB page for the "bucket list baby". In and of itself it's not bad, but it does seem like they rub butts with prolifer nonsense.

Well yeah I'd guess organs from a baby under 6 pounds are less useful because then you're toeing the line of having a whole host of problems, people with conditions that make their heart slightly too big kick it all the time.

The thing is a woman is going to feel love and attachment to her baby, even when it comes out like a monster. It’s just how women are wired to be.
Marybeth Tinning and Susan Smith disagree.

Hell even with Quiverfull types like the Duggars I wonder how much they actually love their kids and how much they just see them as useful Jesus arrows or some shit. Same with munchies, do they really love their kids, or do they just love the attention and pity their kids get them?

There's plenty of studies popping up in the last couple years sequencing the whole genomes of retards literally for the sake of it. That's how cheap full-genome sequencing has become.

That's why I was wondering when that documentary came out - 2010 full-genome sequencing was a bit pricy (but thats in comparison to nowadays where you can literally do genomic studies in your basement).

Here's the picture from that article. What a great life that 22-year-old must have had! Totally worth keeping them alive this whole time.

This makes me die a little on the inside, truly.

Also this thread shouldn't be in the beauty palor along with the dahvie vanity one. Pedos should be watched.

The Ask a Mortician Youtube channel released a video claiming a profoundly disabled woman with CP was wrongly pronounced dead and woke up in a body bag due to ableism and racism. As you can see, she has microcephaly, her body is all twisted and she breathes through a hole in her throat. She is dead for good now though and the family is suing the paramedics and most people in comments online are calling them incompetent, racist and ableist. How badly should those paramedics get in trouble? You have to admit, it must be more difficult to tell a potato is dead than a real human. Not saying that to be mean, like I think it would legitimately require more skill.

The real problem was this according to the NY Post.

"A doctor who wasn’t on the scene declared Beauchamp deceased after one of the paramedics reported via telephone that she displayed no signs of life after they tried reviving her for 30 minutes."

Declaring time of death over the phone aside, and I dunno about the whole disabled part, but I think it comes down to if they (the media) are reporting correctly the use of the term "paramedic" or not. A lot of outlets use the term interchangeably with EMTs, and while I certainly would not fault an EMT for such a mistake, for this to be done by a paramedic, who has actual medical school under their belt, is a major fuckup, disability or not.

Sure as fuck wouldn't want them treating my ass if I took a nosedive into concrete from a heart attack or something.

Got into another argument with pro lifers about abortion today, and as always it was over Down syndrome, where you can point to people who live meaningful lives — it’s never over anencephaly.
Some do it over anencephaly, though it's rare. Some years back the Bucket Baby parents I posted apparently spoke at a prolife rally, I assume insisting that since they carried a brainless fetus to term everyone else should as well.

Even in the US there are people who think something that doesn't even have a brain should have more rights than women/girls

"all medical & genetic causes have been ruled out except a traumatic birth injury." Yet she still obviously blames the doctors.

The comment was included because she never at any point followed her gut, it took seizures for them to take their infant to a doctor.
Everybody can believe in whatever they want but this makes me understand why they wait so long to take their baby to a doctor.

I went and got my nails done, picked up my cute and comfortable nursing bra to wear during labor from Target, and then went and got my lady bits waxed. There’s a lot you cannot control with labor, but feeling and looking my best was the one thing I knew I could control. That night was a tough one. I was awake most of the night with irregular contractions.
Of course, you gotta get your nails done and your "lady bits" waxed before giving birth because that's the important stuff

Potatoes have a pulse and heart rhythm just like non-potatoes. In addition, most ambulances have a portable heart monitor/defibrillator that should have shown a heartbeat if she was still alive. No special skills needed. If you can't find a pulse, you use the monitor/defibrillator.

Somebody F-ed up big time.

The only possibility that would save these dipshits would be if the autopsy shows signs of Lazurus Syndrome, a supposedly real phenomena where the heart spontaneously restarts itself a few hours after clinical death. There's only been 1 or 2 cases a year since it started being documented though, and there's debate on if it's even a real thing or not, so the fact the hospital and paramedics defense team is bringing it up as a possibility shows how badly they likely bungled this.
