That's a good point. Surely as a professional video game streamer and on-demand content creator he could find SOMETHING to do with the EA pass over the next YEAR to generate some value for his business. Not to mention that $33 is a qualifying business expense as long as he streams something from it. So that reduces his taxable income by $33, meaning he really only 'lost' a portion of that $33.

He wouldn’t even need to stream with it, as evidenced by his “business related” PS VITA

I genuinely can’t believe this shit hasn’t been shut down yet. Not only is it a massive scan he hasn’t updated it in years. The main bio still says his YouTube channel is demonetized and doesn’t bring in any money from that like two week timeframe, but it also mentions things like hate live which he hasn’t done in years.

does he ever actually shout out the paterons anymore? I know he only has 2 once a month so it may just be something I never see, but I’ll be nice and assume he doesn’t. Outside of getting to vote for twitch subscriber goal games(a scam within a scam “give me money on two separate sites so you can vote on a game I’ll drag my feet through for 5 months”) the only other perks on his page involve some sort of question being asked on ask the king, a Q&A he does what every two months at this point and has attempted to cancel for like the last two years. An entire patreon based around asking the most boring and unfulfilled man in the world questions.....

its funny because when hes really desperate for money he'll bring up that he has a patreon.

Patreon don't care as long as they're getting their cut. Just look at Spoony's one for a prime example.

Just one more example of why people are wrong to say that Phil is only a harmless idiot. He may have been the one to get scammed here, but look at his attitude about it. Is he showing signs of learning anything? No. He's going to keep being a hypocrite, because just like EA, he loves ill-gotten gains, he loves abusing others, and he's the only person who matters in his world. Such selfishness is NEVER harmless.

It owns that not 36 hours after telling the whole world they’re idiots for suggesting he budget more carefully, Phil gets owned by himself for wasting money in a way he could have 100% prevented by actually budgeting.

EDIT: true lolcows reject advice so I have no problems posting this: 99% of modern consumer purchasing nowadays is giving you a month for free and hoping you forget. And if you have 20 services all charging you 5 dollars a month, then that shit adds up so fucking fast. And if you can't identify all those little lampreys, then you haven't actually done any budgeting. You're just kind of moving numbers around and hoping reality lines up eventually.
