I'd agree that Joe's new answer sounds way more palatable, it's clearly designed to be, real or not. They probably had a think tank work on this during the time Biden was stalling and dodging.

Specifically it's designed to play to the left and the right, to depress Trump's turnout, and improve Biden's by not scaring the more reasonable lefties or abandoning the pro-packing ones. If the SCOTUS was magically non-partisan, lefties consider it a win by not getting handmaiden'd, righties who believe Biden will stop worrying about a battalion of new blue SCOTUS judges declaring the 1'st and 2'nd amendments fake and gay.

With lefties energized and more gullible righties placated, assuming Biden wins, he can assemble a scholar team of Antifa professors and RINO's to just regurgitate whatever plan the Dems already have written somewhere.

Joe can have all the popular votes he wants. Long as Trump has at least 270 electoral votes, he's back in the White House and Joe is back in the basement. That's all that matters. Also keep in mind Hillary's popular vote margin came from just two states - CA and NY. Absent those, Trump would have won the popular vote.

He isn't going to "pack the courts", he's just going to "establish a commission to advise him on how to completely reform the court." Or, in his own words, to "Go well beyond packing." Deep down I fear it might be too late. Even if Trump manages to overcome the entire mainstream media, all of silicon valley, the union of far leftists, liberals and neocons, the foreign powers that want him out, the traitors within his own team and the absolute brainwashing of the majority of America: What then?

The mental state of huge sections of the country is no longer compatible with reality. As Bezmenov famously said, they are trained to respond to certain stimuli - even photo and video evidence means little; they're beyond reason. The responses from family, friends and people in general of various levels of intelligence, age and political involvement have left me puzzled about how we'd even begin to move forward. It's quite depressing. Now more than ever, being "in the matrix" and "redpilled" hold extremely relevant and hard-hitting meanings.

The winning strategy to move forward is to remove the indoctrination from schools and force the consensus manufacturing apparatus in America not to be so blatantly dishonest. Is that even possible with the clock ticking on Boomer deaths and general demographic change?

Constitution says little about the structure of the court. If the court goes rouge then Congress can neuter it. My guess is that Biden’s plan is to pack the court but add term limits to lower concerns about rigging the court even though it will give the Democrats at least a decade long dominence in the court.

And that's the fundamental issue: if anything, the last 40 years of the Court's gradual Conservative shift is essentially a reversion to how the Constitution was once interpreted before FDR's takeover of the judiciary.

A Frederick County man has been charged and arrested after he was allegedly caught on camera leaving a threatening letter at the front door of a house that had several signs in their yard supporting Biden/Harris, according to federal court documents released Wednesday.

On the morning of Oct. 4, 42-year-old James Dale Reed left a threatening letter at the doorstep of a home in Frederick, according to the affidavit filed. The letter started with, "This is a warning to anyone reading this letter if you are a Biden/Harris supporter you will be targeted."

Officials said the letter also threatened 2020 candidates former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris stating, "When We capture Grandpa Biden We will all severely beat him to the point of death as for Mrs. Harris she will be bent over and Anally raped by my rifle barrel."

A Ring door camera captured the person who dropped the letter in front of the home, the affidavit said. The resident of the home, Mark Postuma, told officials that they didn't know the person. Postuma said he was scared, but never considered taking down his yard signs.

"I think it's just kind of a sign of the times right now," Postuma said. "It's disturbing, especially since what happened with the governor in Michigan. My wife and I have discussed the situation and both of us are adamant that the signs will stay up. It's not going to change our vote in anyways.

Investigators worked to identify the person caught on camera and were tipped off that the person was Reed. They said a person who knew Reed saw the door camera footage and confirmed to police that it was him.

Police interviewed Reed following the tip and he originally told investigators that he was not the person that left the threatening letter at the front door. A couple of days later, Reed admitted to writing and delivering the letter and was arrested.

Neighbors Sonia Bell and her son David described the search and arrest, noting that they saw investigators taking guns from the house, but said they were stunned it was Reed.

"I've known him from when he was in elementary school with my kids, and it's just shocking," Sonia Bell said. "We're all shocked because Jimmy is a good person. We would not have thought this about him."

Sonia Bell added that typically the neighborhood, Reed included, had taken a "agree to disagree stance."

"It's just sad that you can't be a Democrat or a Republican nowadays," David Bell said. "People are arguing, but we're all Americans, and that's what people are forgetting."

“We take these types of threats extremely seriously. Such threats to commit violence are illegal and have no place in our democracy, and we will hold accountable those who make them. We are grateful for the assistance of the City of Frederick Police Department and to citizens who provided tips that ultimately led to Mr. Reed’s arrest and these federal charges,” said United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Robert K. Hur.
