Although decadent Euro and American lefties fangirl over jihadi choppers, but a Syrian knows what choppers mean to any sort of politics. Assad is nominally socialist. However flawed he might be, it's him or deluge.I think it has, but I could be wrong. Personally I think it's an interesting concept but a little too busy.
Here's a flag of the Syrian Resistance, a Marxist-Leninist group that supports the Assad government in Syria. I don't know why they call themselves a resistance if they're supporting the government. Maybe they got it from Star Wars or something. I also don't know why Marxists are supporting Assad, but I'll admit they have a pretty cool flag.

You missed the best bit, the motto that goes with it:View attachment 1518563
I really like the Isle of Man's flag. The triskelion has endured as a Manx symbol for a long time. It's a unique flag, it catches my attention every time I see it.
This is the only valid state flag that's just a seal on a blue background. Illuminati as fuck. This is the former state flag of Colorado. Sort of explains the weirdness of the Denver International Airport.

Yeah, the Pan-Celtic flag kind of sucks because instead of trying to implement elements from all the flags in an aesthetically pleasing way, they just took a cross section of each flag.View attachment 1518563

The flag of the Celtic nations however has a lot going on. I know they're trying to represent everyone, but damn.

My profile picture is the Coat of Arms of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria,
here's their flag:View attachment 1677220
boring
BUT
4070 years prior, in their transition between Khanate to Emirate, they had this flag, which I really like:

I've also seen the seal with 5-pointed stars instead of 8 but that irl flag looks dope and I want it.View attachment 1677547
What about the variant with the coat of arms on it? It seems to be a very popular one.
View attachment 1677571
It's a bit inconsistent what colors it's supposed to have, or the size of the seal though.
You're in luck. For the low, low price of 30 USD it can be yours.I've also seen the seal with 5-pointed stars instead of 8 but that irl flag looks dope and I want it.
The maple leaf flag is fine. The other flags are gay as shit. Especially the middle oneView attachment 1677447View attachment 1677448View attachment 1677451
Canada obviously has the best flag in the world, but we could've had better flags
I know people make fun of Liberia's county flags for looking like MSPaint, but at least they're not that top right design. That one just screams "rectangle tool".Some redesigns:

I love how in those last three the horse goes from leaping right, to maybe changing his mind, then leaping left.Venezuela has had a ridiculous amount of different flags.
Most of them are variations on the same yellow, blue, red theme though, except for this one:

No, this isn't from Nazi occupied Venezuela. It was actually the flag of the country very briefly from 1813 to 1814.
Here's the incredibly shitty flag that came before that one:

Speaking of flags that look fascist but aren't, here's the flag from 1830 to 1836:

The earliest uses of stars on the flag were these blue ones across the top stripe. Each only lasted a few years, with two flags in between the first and second.

Then came the "cluster of stars" flags.
View attachment 1681068View attachment 1681070
Followed by the "ring of stars" flags. I actually really like these ones. Might be my favorites.
View attachment 1681071View attachment 1681073
And then all the variations of the "arch of stars" flags, the last of which is still used today.

Yes, they are all different. The coat of arms changed between the second and third one, and the last one darkened the colors.
I didn't notice that before, but it's a hell of a political metaphor. Now we just need an updated flag with the horse as a decaying corpse.I love how in those last three the horse goes from leaping right, to maybe changing his mind, then leaping left.
