Bad. If PayPal is accepting crypto it means they have some form of controlling stake. I would expect some open-source type contribution on their part in the coming years. It will advance the technology, it will probably be free (libre & as in beer) and it will definitely benefit PayPal first and foremost. See also RedHat & Linux.

Too early to say. Probably slightly good.

Seems more likely they'll go for any one of the "crypto, but with regulation" projects. I strongly doubt they'll be able to subvert Monero or Bitcoin.

Lol! Why did she break up with Marshall? I don't keep up with their thread but this is so funny
Seems like generally being a cunt. The maintenance on that one is sky-high, he moved out.
I can't be arsed to drill down on it. She vomits all over her thread with insanity 24/7.
She fights with some jew members over her 'real hebrew heritage' which is apparent Scots/Welsch. Apparently those folk are true Jews.

They are some of the cheapest bastards I have ever met. They also eat food that most consider pig food or waste. Story checks out.

I don't think they will be executing a hostile takeover of the cryptocurrencies like a 51% attack right now, or otherwise subverting it to destroy it. They're likely still just dipping their toes into that water and it wouldn't make business sense to attack it like that. Regulation still is a tremendous amount of power, I think that's enough for them if they can filter out undesirables from spending BTC via their service like they do with other currencies today.

51% is obviously out of the question because it's very visible, and because you're attacking it at its strongest point.

If I wanted to subvert Bitcoin, I'd go for the people. Start up some company that deals with Bitcoin. Hire/fund existing core devs. Hire C++ programmers, and have them contribute to Bitcoin. Nothing evil at first, just fixing all the issues in sight on the tracker, but significant enough that your guys get a strong influence. Then, when they're dependent on your contributions, gradually make more and more insane proposals, and refuse to work on the changes that aren't to your interest.

(In fact, evil tongues speak of this having already happened.)

Still, Bitcoin is way too toxic for something like that to have a meaningful impact, and there's no point. "Blockchain" is a big buzzword in business, and PayPal wants in on the fun. Ain't nothing to it.

You don't actually own the crypto. It's just like CFDs. There's no way to actually withdraw it, only sell for fiat.

Total nothingburger.

I don't care about Baked, but link that post about Melinda

and no not really.
I’m trying to find it again; but my phone plan is out of data and sorting through her pseudokabbalist rambling is making me want to down a fifth of everclear. There are references to them breaking up in the 15 or so pages I’ve gone back through but I haven’t found the main post yet.

I'm late, and I cannot find her original post announcing that her and Marshall are done, but here are two funny posts.

Melinda mentions she is scared of Marshall attacking her

Melinda explains how she would handle domestic abuse like a strong wahmen

Edit: I've skimmed about 100 pages now, and I'm noticing a lot of posts that I know Melinda made or that have been quoted in other posts are gone. I think Melinda has gone back and deleted or heavily edited the original post where she announced that her and Marshall are separating, but you can still see her talking about it since August. Long story short, Melinda told everyone that Marshall sits on his fat ass playing on his phone all day instead of helping her manage her brood of inbred children.

Bonus: Marshall returned to the farms to call Melinda an ugly bitch, and Melinda sniffed him out immediately.
