This is just wrong. I know a number of traditional D voters who don’t like Trump, but only because they’d dislike any Republican. When they vote they’ll vote D, but they don’t consistently vote all the time. Again, if the race is close, the email stuff only needs to keep a small percentage of people at home who will just bag it.

Given early voter turnout, which heavily benefits Dems I doubt they will be demoralized by this. Both sides already live in feedback loops of confirmation bias, why would even a disaster like this dissuade them from voting? They're being bombarded with "go vote" messages everywhere.

There are nothing but NRA ads in michigan right now. You also got to realize Michigan is union blue, not New York or California Blue. Michigan wants guns and jobs and probably a new governer but Biden took a dump on all those things except for offering the governer a VP seat.

Rasmussen report put out today that Trump has a three point lead in Florida. Many other swing states are very close (within 4 points). This was not the case against Clinton 4 years ago. Trump is most likely winning this.

Also telling is that they also do daily tracking of Trump's performance rating, and, with the exception of a handful of days, he has outperformed Obama every day. A poll conducted by Gallop also stated that a majority of people are better off now than they were 4 years ago. Why would anyone in their right minds go back?

EDIT: I know union bosses will vote blue no matter who, but average Joe welder/mason/plumber is going to fight to keep the 11 million far the fuck away from their jobs.

Why hire a union rep when i can get 2-3 semi-skilled laborers for the same price? Oh and I can't get fucked by department of labor now because they're all legal! What I was getting at is that the much more limited powers of modern presidents, while shielding the world from nutcases like Nero and Elagabalus, also attracts a shallower talent pool of competitors. Given that the competition often degenerated into cloak-and-dagger bullshit it's probably for the best, but it accounts for how much more mediocre the present political class at least appears to be.

Also the Horse chancellor thing sounds like a Trump-style troll in retrospect.

Yea I think I have to agree with you there is some kinda soft civil war going on right now, though I do have no doubt its by Trump and his administration. I think Trump knows if he cant win this election he's going to be destroyed so his administration has put this into motion. This scandle could cause a serious schisim in the democrat party, weakening them enough for Trump to go in and do his swamp drain which will be the real killing blow. If you remember Trump said way back last year that he hoped Biden would be the Ticket, maybe there was more to it than Biden just being old and weak and demented.
