I agree that Arizona is the Democratic Party's next major target but flipping a major Bible Belt state to a solid blue is a point of pride for the Dems and they want to keep it blue since they don't want the Religious Right to even have the chance of a comeback since the Religious Right/Neocon alliance fucked up the Democrats in the 80's under Reagan.

I think keeping Virginia blue is a slightly higher priority than flipping Arizona. Slightly.
Why would they slow down if AZ is within their grasp? That's not mutually exclusive with keeping VA. They'd be even more smug to have flipped the state that embodies the gun-toting Wild West that gave us Barry Goldwater.

I don't think this is how math works Nate.

But you have to start planting the seed to beg ABC News to not fire your ass I guess.

He still doesn't realize that polling is not like science or sports data. Which is why he doesn't understand why Trump can win outside "muh statistics."
Also, tangential meme.

Big statement.

Man's sounding like CNN; nothing but COVID, COVID, and what's Biden's plan all about? Let's see...

More COVID. Only COVID. Just COVID.

Love how even his handler (the one who made that tweet) knows that Trump was calm and made Biden look like a old fool.

Literally indistinguishable from the Nate Silver AI Bot account.

Biden needs to shut the ever-loving fuck up about the COVID death toll.

The CDC released statements this week that the "self-afflicted" and "accidental" fatality of people between the ages of 25 and 44 has increased by over a quarter THIS YEAR ALONE. Over 100k young people dying from what the CDC and the FDA Commissioner describes as "deaths of despair as the result of these lockdowns."

What about these families that "wake up to an empty kitchen table," Biden? How do you think those families feel about losing their loved ones to overdose or suicide? What about them, you lying, opportunistic, manipulative, goulish FUCK.

Tempted to make another bet on him winning the popular vote. Does it look like he may break the 50% threshold this time? People's reactions to the last debate are quite devastating for Biden. The guy is clearly a dud and will make for a terrible president.

It'l come down to the turnout in San Francisco, LA, Chicago & New York (I think in that order?), if they're too scared to leave their pods, popular vote to Trump becomes a safe bet.

The problem Biden and the DNC have is that COVID is literally their only talking point possible.

Their actual policies (i.e. fracking, packing the courts) are all bullshit.

The DNC has one way to win the election - convince the American people that Trump is responsible for their deaths. That's it. That's the only card the DNC has.

The problem is that Joe was so doom and gloom in the debate, that the American people are going to look at Trump, who's saying reopen everything, and even if it goes "against the science", that's what they've wanted to months now. So even COVID is starting to turn into a point in Trump's favor because the DNC keeps screaming "LOCKDOWN!!!"

Rust Belt Combo.... plus Nebraska (He's trolling with MN)... Is Biden on track to winning a congressional district there or is it matter of stopping any funny business?

Obama is said to be in Florida, even though he should be gallivanting in the Rust Belt's Democrat machine counties. And I swear to God, if Joe announced "his" COVID plan in Delaware... Who knows what else he'll be up, as well as Kamala? Their rallies are harder to find than Nate Glowstone's logic.

Not to mention the whole reason the BLM riots got so intense was due to the lockdowns in the first place. Locking them down again will only want to make people legitimately want to commit domestic terrorism on Biden and the DNC as a whole if they attempt it. And the rioters already want Trump and Pence's heads on a silver platter because of the first lockdown.

It's amazing that the real October surprise wasn't the Hunter leaks; it was Joe completely imploding during the second debate.

You're possibly not far off there,
yeah f you too...

from what I looked at Trump lost the state by around 70k votes, you might think "Wow Trump got beat rather well" but then you remember there was another person running in 2016...Gary motherfucking Johnson, the former Governor of New Mexico. He took 74,541 votes in the state, Trump had 319,667. If Trump could've peeled off around 66-67k of those votes he would've beaten Clinton, who knows who else those folks would've voted for has Johnson not been there on the ticket but it's interesting.
that makes sense but doesnt take into account all the people working in oil production.
thats an low eudcation field full of mexicans who will be very sad if they lose their jobs.
getting paid realy good money is much more important for people than having some stupid family members from across the border.

Something to note about Omaha, Nebraska is that it is within the second Congressional District, a swing district that could go for Biden. It already went for Obama in 2008 and the areas has been trending Democratic so it's not impossible. Personally, I think Biden will get the district, but you never know.

This is a smarter call than people think. Trump isn't campaigning in Maine likely because he's expecting to win the second congressional district there and the rest of Maine is likely too hard to pull. If he were to win the 2nd Congressional District in Nebraska and Maine, he can then keep all of the states except Michigan and Pennsylvania and then grab either Wisconsin or Minnesota for 270 electoral votes, giving him an electoral college majority needed for re-election. If faithless electorates is an issue, Trump can lose Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, but as long as he grabs Michigan, he would be at 276. In that situation, it would be a much harder call to dwindle Trump's lead to 269 or less, thus preventing it from being thrown to Congress.

That said, nice to see him hitting Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan next week. Hopefully Minnesota is next, do a double or even triple rally.

See, I'm looking at this election from the opposite perspective.

Trump beat Hillary 304-227. So Biden needs to pull at least 35 electoral votes away from Trump. Where are they coming from?

Even if Biden (somethefuckhow) wins Pennsylvania, that's 20. If Biden flips both Pennsylvania and Michigan, that's 38 so Biden wins. I think that's Biden's main path to victory.

I just don't see Florida going blue this year. Maybe I'm rainbow.

The only other path is maybe Pennsylvania AND Arizona AND Wisconsin. Or Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Those are the two secondary paths to victory.

Either way, Biden fucked up when he couldn't help stating he was talking Pennsylvania oil jobs away.

1/8 is actually a pretty good chance because Biden has a bigger polling lead and Libertarians are a joke this year which takes away Trump's ability to get voters from the sinking SS Johnson.

VA doesn't say anything for AZ because Mr. Blackface got in before the reveal and he's a governor. So the DEMs would have to work together with the GOP to take him out. That's an implict endorsement and would do more damage anyway, so the best move is just to ignore it. DEMs could just not let Kelly caucus with them to force a resignation and a special election. They won't though because they want that Senate seat.

It's too long to be worth caring about but DEMs are hypocrites for not kicking Kelly and he stole outlandish $$$ because donors ask if he has embarrassing secrets and he lied. I could understand if he was the only chance to win the seat so the DEMs are better off hoping not to get busted, but weak incumbent, CA invasion and access to other strong candidate who unselfishly didn't declare to avoid a bloody primary makes him a $$$ thief.
