Yes, the Romans wanted to assimilate everything into their own culture (they wanted to "own" everything) so whenever they came in contact with a new religion, they wanted that religion's deities to sit alongside their own. Christians, Jews, etc. are monotheistic and resisted that, which is why they were persecuted. Diocletian was also big on persecuting Christians.

I'm not disappointed at all. As I said 4-5 pages ago, the story here really isn't anything that Hunter or even Joe are doing. The story here is just how blatant MSM and social media are covering it up and refusing to even talk about it.
