From 18:00 BST shops will be forced to close for 17 days, unless they sell essential items such as food.
First Minister Mark Drakeford has said supermarkets should also stop selling items such as clothes as a matter of "fairness" until 9 November.
//
By law, clothing and homeware stores, and garden centres, will have to close during the national lockdown, while supermarkets, pharmacies and hardware stores can remain open.

A lot of places need to be opened up. It's sad when you pine for the days where you can be like fucking FLORIDA.likely response: "just use amazon lmao"
Even at the ridiculous heights of post-war rationing, you could still buy cards and clothing. Doesn't matter how real the ching chong choke might be, they've turned this into a completely manufactured crisis.

I think in the grand sheme of thing is to do something. The highest vector are essential anyway, so rather to admit the truth they close thingWith all that contact tracing going on, has there been any data published on the most common spreading settings, apart from nursing homes? Are cinemas, gyms, and pools really the most dangerous places one can visit now?
Isn't it funny how most places in the world right now are attempting a second lockdown due to a "surge of infections"? Really gets the noggin' joggin' 20 miles per hour.Italy has shutdown its cinemas, gyms and pools to stop a second wave of coronavirus infections.
I like how Donald Trump/the American response is considered some uniquely horrible thing that's killing grandmas left and right yet the "far superior" SCIENCE based European/Australian lockdowns were so effective they're back in place months later.Isn't it funny how most places in the world right now are attempting a second lockdown due to a "surge of infections"? Really gets the noggin' joggin' 20 miles per hour.
Supposed to prevent people from leaving home just to buy paper or a ball-peen hammer or whatever. Stupid, but that's the reasoning.Re: Wales lockdowns
What is preventing people from buying """non-essential items""" supposed to prevent?
STOP HAVING FUN HAVING FUN SPREADS COVIDI never understood how preventing people from buying random things is going to stop the virus from spreading.
Are the Halloween decorations and notepads suddenly causing COVID now?
The virus can stick to clothing! Guess we better stop selling it!
It's almost as if they want to piss everyone off.
