I don't really know 100% why there's a distinction, but there is. So I'm going with it.

I've always been of the opinion that lolcows are disproportionately likely to claim to be trans (or any other maginalized group) for oppression points and asspats, but whatever. And look at you go, policing language. And here I thought all terms were made up.
