Florida deaths continue to drop.

From reddit:
Florida's average 7 day covid death rate lowest since July 10

Search for: Florida Desantis for the past couple of months and there are people screaming about trying him for murder.

Also, Sweden:

September 2020 least deadly month ever in Sweden - 2020 third least deadly year ever so far

Life Is Normal In Sweden Now

I've had many conversations over the past month since Florida completely reopened:

* Not a single person knew that Florida had reopened
* Every single person made some vague statement about Florida 'being that state where everyone is dying' or something similar.

I have to laugh at myself six months ago when I naively thought that this clusterfuck would quickly end as soon as red states opened back up and life went back to normal and everyone see for themselves what a deadly farce these disastrous lockdowns are.

What do y'all think of the people that blames trump for the covid deaths because "He KnEw SiNcE jAnUArY!"? Or "disbanding the team" like the lockdowns wouldn't of happened if he didn't
They're liars desperate to push their agenda and find someone to blame, even though the answer's been right there in front of them. The liberals, WHO and CDC were the ones telling people beginning in January it's just the flu bro, masks don't work, closing borders and travel bans are racist and xenophobic and if you even mention China you're a racist bigot, encouraging people to go out and travel, hug a Chinese person, etc. The blood is 100% on their hands and they shouldn't be allowed to turn around and say it's Trump's fault because they can't admit they were wrong.

Edit: For those of you who may not have been on this thread during the first few months and got to see this shit play out live, I found this article that has a lot of the most egregious examples, and most of them have the sources linked to back them up. This is from APRIL and they're still keeping up the charade. Is Drew Pinsky the only one who admitted he was wrong and apologized?

Does anyone actually know anyone who's died from Covid? plenty of my family and friends have gotten it but they've sat around drinking orange juice and watching trash tv for a few days until they recovered. Hell even the guy that's notorious in my dad's friend group for poor health got Covid and recovered and that guy is 400+ pounds, smokes four packs a day, and has diabeetus.

None of my friends can name anyone they know who's died either.

no.

I know of two people that had it tho - they just felt really shit, like a really extreme flu then suddenly felt better after like 4 days... bit odd really...

most fucks that die from it are like old, unhealthy (or young and unhealthy) drink a lot of booze, smoke and have shit lungs. The medical world always lie... think about the figures on heart attacks... they never actually breakdown the data on the specifics of why said people had the heart attack... same for cancer....

I know it's anecdotal but the fact that no one can name anyone who's actually died from allegedly the most dangerous pandemic in U.S history is very very suspect.

Man... imagine if all this is like some kind of social compliance, chinese whispers thing... like the media tell everyone something exists and people suddenly start "having" said thing and it ain't even real! LOL

People are weird and will literally lie to fit in socially....

I know people who have had the coof and have come away with some pretty bad lung damage, but no deaths that I can think of off the top of my head. But then again, I'm not super social.

Saturday my throat started getting scratchy and it's only gotten worse. I can still talk normally, but it hurts. I don't feel any other symptom other than that. I know sore throat is a symptom of coof but I would describe this as being from allergies + weather, rather than a true "you have the flu" sore throat. That being said I hope I can continue to speak normally because if not I can't hide it and my uni will make me quarantine and not come back until I get another test, probably on my insurance dime.

I had a really bad sore throat with no other symptoms a week and a half ago, my left ear was painful, too. I went for a checkup, refused the covid testing, decided against taking the antibiotic they prescribed, and got rid of it in two days with hydrogen peroxide in my ear as well as unpasteurized orange juice.

I would imagine the covid test would have shown a false positive like it's inclined to do, but if it were truly viral my methods shouldn't have worked. Get some unpasteurized orange juice and gargle with sea salt water. I bet you'll be fine in a couple days.

Testing doesn't cost anything as far as I know.
But I'm assuming you're a Brit so I have no idea what their rules ares.

Slower mutation makes sense. I was comparing it to the common cold and the flu but forgot the common cold is caused by dozens of different viruses, only several of which are coronaviruses. I'm not sure how long immunity to those particular coronaviruses lasts although you could get the cold from a ton of different sources even if you were immune to every single coronavirus that causes the cold.
Yeah most "common colds" are rhinoviruses. There are 4 coronaviruses (I think?) that cause common colds. OC43 & HKU1 are both in the genus Betacoronavirus and basically a sister-species to Sarbecoronavirus from which COVID & SARS are strains of.

My personal half-tinfoil half-professional intuition theory is that T-cells & antibodies from a recent OC43 or HKU1 exposure might give some level of resistance to COVID.
In Biology we have a saying "form fits function"; basically almost everything in nature has shape/coloration/composure optimized for specific functions of life. It seems really strange that antibodies from OC43 & HKU1 are so close to COVID antibodies that they can trick a blood test into coming as COVID positive yet their almost mirror image form has absolutely zero worth when fighting off a COVID infection.

I know someone who's wife lost both her parents to COVID, but other than that they were old I don't know much more detail than that.

I personally have two family members from separate sides of the maternal/paternal divide who got greased by MRSA though.

I had to pay up front to get a test done before I could go back to work.
I was reimbursed by the company, but it still cost $140 to get my nose violated.

If you ask this question on reddit, there will be hundreds upon thousands of posters telling the gruesome tales of how they lost their entire communities, family, friends, enemies, aquaintances, to Covid. I like it over here better.

I had the Coof and lived BUT I think if my heart had been in worse shape it could have gone badly. My pulse was pounding so hard a few times I was pretty sure some of my veins were gonna pop open like a cheap garden hose with too much water pressure.

I had the coof and while it wasn't fun it was better than the time I got mono.
Yeah, they sure love their upboats on Reddit.

I don't know anyone who's even gotten it, let alone died from it. I am pretty positive I had it in February, but there was no chance of getting tested back then, and there's no point in getting an antibody test now.

All I know is that I was pretty horribly sick for over a month, and after I got over it I went out, hung out with people, eventually went back to work after being furloughed for 3 months, and am now getting pretty lax about the constant hand washing/sanitizing and proper donning/doffing of my mask... I haven't gotten sick since March. Nor has anyone in my family. Even when I was sick nobody else in my household got sick, but I have basic hygiene and health standards that apparently huge amounts of people do not, if they are in fact catching the coof. But maybe I'm just asymptomatic and so is everyone else I know. Who gives a shit. According to the CDC asymptomatic spread isn't even an issue, but the media and the liberals don't want anyone to know that.
