U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

I'm amazed at how shortsighted the rioters are, this essentially delivers PA straight into Trump's arms without him having to lift a finger in response. If they try this shit again during a second trump term, they are going to get insurrection acted.
Either that, or they mysteriously commit suicide with six shots behind the head.

Does anyone actually like Philly? The people are assholes(and proud of it). I'm assuming the city itself is shitty due to it being a large American urban area. Any positives out of Philly other than Rocky in the last 100 years?
Not a single one. And if anyone mentions Philly cheesesteak I'll just mention there is no law of physics that prevents that from being made anywhere else.

I just saw 'Philadelphia riots' somewhere and thought for a second maybe some of the libs losing their shit over ACB actually made good on their hysterical threats of riots and civil war. Nope, just joggers jogging over some really stupid shit again.
Give it a day, 2 max, and the ACB stuff will be rolled into it.

No. No one likes Philly. The only people who pretend to like it are fat fucks who praise a greasy, mediocre sandwich. It alongside Detroit, Flint, and the entire states of New Jersey and Washington could just go missing one day and no one would notice.

Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are awful.

I will defend the philly cheesesteak and say... it really depends who makes it. I find its one of a very few foods whose quality is a -complete- crapshoot when ordered from somewhere. Most foods, like burgers, pizzas, tacos, etc, you can expect a minimum level of competence with a few outliers both good and bad. A cheesesteak though? I have never tasted two cheese steaks with the same level of quality.

If the metro areas of Washington were gone Washington state would be amazing, great natural beauty there.

The industrial revolution was a mistake. *sigh*

Philly is a good city because it straddles the line between world class city and some forgotten hellhole. Its prominent enough that every musical act or cultural thing that tours will stop in but still cheap enough to be accessible. NYC property is absolutely fucking insane in prices, this isn't the same in Philly, property is very accessible for the working man. Its a blue collar city and it has the typical abrasiveness that all city in the Mid-Atlantic region have, like all cities in the US, its the black population that makes it an unsafe hellhole.

It's become increasingly difficult to conceal my Negro Fatigue lately, but I've noticed that a lot of other people around me aren't even bothering to conceal it anymore.

It's like clockwork now and it's most definitely having an effect. People I thought were pretty standard neolibs or neocons are now beginning to drop some hard-Rs in there.

Niggas ain't shit but hoes and tricks!

Uncle Tom analysis time:

Right off the bat, I hear "PUT THE KNIFE DOWN!" 3x. Suspect refuses to comply, gets closer to said officers, officers respond with justified force.

This time there are witnesses around the incident, but immediately start berating the cops for being concerned of their safety.

Upper city Philadelphia reports at least a murder or stabbing a day, yet THIS is enough for these idiots to start freaking out? (Point of reference: I watch local news, almost every day when I wake up, I see a murder, shooting or stabbing reported in Philly. I'm actually desensitized to it, that's how sad it is.)

Philadelphia isn't exactly the safest city in PA. I imagine this won't make it better. Brace for impact.

You can get a cheese steak at a WaWa in Jersey that's better than half of the carts in Philly.

Wawa cheesesteaks are foul, thermalized beef mix on a half baked pre frozen roll.

And I fucking love Wawa.
Having spent some time in Philly and having family in the area (won't say more because potential power leveling) I think I can talk about all this shit:
1. If this stabbing happened in North Philly, can't stay I'm surprised. I constantly got told to stay out of North Philly.

2. Cheesesteaks to Philadelphians is like any regional specialty: every person will have their different place that's their favorite. Also, consensus is that the two biggest places, Pat's and Geno's, are mostly for the tourists (and probably the people who live down that way but whatever).
Also, I present this scene:

3. I never had a cheesesteak from Wawa because the hoagies are where it's at. Anyone from the area will probably tell you something about this place that they live on, and it's open 24/7. Also they're now in 6 states and DC.

4. Philly's thing is it's a mix of east coast metropolis and small town "don't take shit from anyone" mentality. Also, there's the whole "cradle of independence thing" that makes sure Philly is forever recognized. Take away the 1776 and you basically have Pittsburgh. And then there's Eagles fans to further cement the tough guy reputation.
