Lolcow Melinda Leigh Scott & Marshall Castersen - Sue-happy couple. Flat earth conspiracists. Pretending to be Jewish. Believe Kiwi Farms is protected by the Masonic Order. 0-6 on lawsuits. Marshall is dead.

Sure is. Don't you know the doctrine of The Elect?
The doctrine of the Elect is hogwash. Nowhere in Scripture does it say souls can sin before they are placed in a body, only that Elohim is aware of the path that each person will travel before they do so. Construing that as "sin before birth" is ridiculous.
Better exegesis 👍, but I'll answer the conclusion of your writing: "Yeshua would have used that word since it was more common".

I disagree with that notion. Yahushua spoke to people in parables, often concealing the true meaning so that if they didn't have "ears to hear" or "eyes to see" they wouldn't understand.
He used complex concepts and simple words to describe them, as well as metaphors the common man would quickly glom onto (mustard seed, weddings, farming, etc). The metaphors and parables used in the NT are meant to encourage the layman hearing His words to ponder deeply upon them and seek out the meaning, but a layman wouldn't have the resources to look up the specific meaning of porneia that you're alleging-- hell, a lot of peasants didn't even know how to read.

Yes, Yeshua was speaking to the Pharisees in that conversation, but if we're going with the idea that Elohim and by extension Yeshua were aware His words would be captured and translated, your idea still makes zero sense. "Thou cannot divorce thy wife except in the case of porneia" is an essential concept and would have to be delivered in the most straightforward way.

Anyways, porneia would have been commonly recognized as the word for adultery, and considering that the rest of the conversation wasn't a parable it wouldn't make any sense for Him to suddenly obfuscate His meaning by using a much less common word. Strongs 1495 (I'm not looking up how that's spelled) is more colloquial, therefore porneia = idolatry makes no sense in context.

Tl;dr you're wrong

so you lash out at women with matriarchal elements in their family

Melinda, I know some awesome single mothers and women in my family in the past who had to work to provide for their family and care for them out of necessity. A recent ancestor of mine took in two of her grandchildren that had been abandoned when she was in her 60s. Another was a farm wife with eight kids, no electricity or running water, and she had her last child at 42.

I'm 100% Goy, so don't even start.

I have respect for stay at home mothers and people who decide to bring children into this batshit insane world in general and try to bring those kids up right.

You don't provide for your family, the state does, and government assistance doesn't go far. Groceries can be more expensive in rural areas, so I have no idea what kind of diet your kids and you are getting, but I don't wager it's good.

You have three kids under age 5 and you spend a huge chunk of time arguing with people here, so who's caring for them? It's not fair to make the older ones care for the little ones all the time. And you're not only online when they're in bed.

If you were a single mom of six snd providing for them and caring for them or if you were a SAHM caring for six kids while a partner earned an income, I'd be awed by you. But it sure as hell doesn't seem like you care for them, camped out on a messageboard all day.

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I separated you for Myself." (Jer. 1:5)

Sure is. Don't you know the doctrine of The Elect?

Thinking for myself, imagine that!

I have secret revelation about that. Not willing to share

Animals exist as a witness to The Torah. They show people that there is a Creator and also shows people what unclean behavior is.

For example, a pig is unclean. It will grunt for food from its master but when it's full it doesn't acknowledge it's master. The Torah says we should give thanks when we are full. Unlike Christians, who give thanks before they eat. Hm, interesting.

"I call on heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have presented you with life and death, the blessing and the curse" (Deut. 30:19)

I disagree with that notion. Yahushua spoke to people in parables, often concealing the true meaning so that if they didn't have "ears to hear" or "eyes to see" they wouldn't understand.

"All these things Yeshua said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without using a parable" (MW 13:34)
Soooooo basically, just bullshit. If you can’t back your claim of souls sinning without physical form or conscious thought, just admit you had an oopsie. Saying you have a secret revelation you’d rather not share just sounds retarded. Why wouldn’t you share it. It wouldn’t change anything or anyone’s minds to reveal it. Especially since you claim to be here for debate. What exactly are you risking other than making yourself look even dumber by revealing your super duper secret knowledge.

Wrong again. The root word there is נֵצֶר

"But a branch[נֵצֶר] will emerge from the trunk of Yishai,
a shoot will grow from his roots.
The Spirit of Adonai will rest on him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and power,
the Spirit of knowledge and fearing Adonai —"

That's Yahushua, The Messiah

That's still not the word Netzarim. And that's the part you choose to respond to?

Actually, that does bring up a side point. You seem to respond to posts in a almost chaotic order. Even when responding to but a single post, you actually address the points from it in a scattershot order, rather than going in the order the points were written in. It must take additional effort and only makes you look unfocused and incoherent.

The Cherokee are from the 10 lost tribes of Israel :cunningpepe:

So you're a Mormon as well as a Christian. You are a super goy, aren't you, Mel.

If it's such a dumb idea, then riddle me this...

Where did the concept of a "Messiah" (capital M) come from?

This is a complete strawman. Jews reject the idea that Jesus is the messiah, not the concept of a messiah itself. Jews believe the messiah is yet to appear on this earth.

Tampons aren't safe. Haven't used one since I was a teen

Also, I do ecological breastfeeding. I don't get my period. Lucky me 🥳

Of all the lies you tell in this thread, the lies you tell yourself wind up being the funniest.

It's a sin. Period.

This is why you project your whoredom outward with insults

There's a great line about planks and specks here that seems relevant, Mel. And one about pots, and about glass houses.... I'd say "you get the idea" but honestly I don't think you will if I don't spell it out explicitly. I will say that you throw out a lot of insults, Mel. Maybe that is enough for you to connect the dots. Probably not though.

Still waiting for you to actually make that guess about who I am, Mel! What's the matter, afraid you'll be wrong yet again? Has my devil may care attitude got you worried?

Thinking for myself, imagine that!
It's a shame your so bad at it. All of your retarded choices in beliefs boil down to one of two things:
1. They make you feel special, which you need because you're way below average in every aspect except degenerate skankiness.
2. They justify one of your many character flaws, or some terrible behavior you choose to partake in.

I have secret revelation about that. Not willing to share
No you don't. You like to pretend to have this deep well of secret knowledge, when in fact you're a retard without a grasp of even basic knowledge.
Animals exist as a witness to The Torah. They show people that there is a Creator and also shows people what unclean behavior is.
This is retarded and you're retarded for believing it.

For example, a pig is unclean
False. A pig left to its own devices are quite clean when they're not penned up. They do roll in mud, but that's to regulate their temperature as they don't sweat. It's humans and the conditions they put them in that make pigs unclean. You don't like pigs because they smell better than you.

They're actually intelligent animals as well. My guess is they're smarter than you and your retarded brood combined.

The Torah says we should give thanks when we are full. Unlike Christians, who give thanks before they eat. Hm, interesting.
Who gives a fuck if you pray before or after a meal? You're still thanking God for the same thing, you're fucking stupid.

Mel obsesses over minutiae so she can ignore the meaning of the passages she mangles. For example, here she's become convinced it's the timing of thanking YHWH that matter, rather than remembering to thank him so as not to forget being taken out of slavery in egypt.

A slavery which is very non-historical, mind you.

I'm glad that Melinda here is so stupid as to post so much shit that would never let her into Israel. There's a reason Section 2(b) exists. Fake Jews and former Jews wont get in.

A lot of people think slavery in Egpyt is similar to slavery in the United States when it's not. Also, there has been no historical evidence of Jewish slaves in Egypt. At least not the way people think. Depending on the dynasty will depend on the type of "slavery" taking place. Then you also have several types of "slavery", one of which is the better known bonded labourer. Labourers who either sold themselves or family members off, however they could eventually buy back their freedom.

I reject the doctrine that Elohim is all knowing, or knows what everyone will choose in advance. I see no scriptural support for that.
Ah, that is good to know. I figured that like most believers, you think your deity to be all powerful (commanding and having created all concepts, the physical laws of the universe etc.) and thus also automatically all knowing. What are some other limits aside from foresight?

Concerning the pre body sinning part

I have secret revelation about that. Not willing to share
As in, you figured it out through reading it or as in actual revelation - a revelation from your deity informing you?

Your unsolicited advice is both tacky and evil. No one asked your opinion about the division of my time.

I don't need to adjust my life to impress a complete stranger on the internet. And quite frankly I don't owe you an explanation for my time.

Your paranoid suspicions and evil assumptions aren't facts. It's your fucked up brain at work. Read the fucking thread before you go spouting off at the mouth, I literally just mapped out my division of time about 3 to 5 pages back. You're an absolute moron.

I don't give a rats ass if your Goy family abused themselves by overloading themself with responsibility, and stuffing formula down their toddler's throats to get to work.

Your values aren't mine and I don't give a rats ass if you share my values or not.

I take care of all 6 of my children all day long, just because you're too stupid to figure out how to run a house and still manage to have leisure time, doesn't mean I don't know how to balance my time.

Your archaic views of trying to deny women leisure time are both Patriarchal sexism and sheer uneducated ignorance. I spent plenty of time studying societal attitudes on women's leisure time vs male "entitlement" theories. Men can go do their hobbies but women must be the martyrs for keeping the home afloat, huh?

Women aren't martyrs for motherhood.

You idiots try to throw this accusation at me at least once a week. It's amazing how unbelievably sexist you all are, never saying anything about Marshall having responsibility to help. It's amazing that your sexism regarding women's leisure time is stronger than your sexism about any other issue!!

Just, WOW

The doctrine of the Elect is hogwash. Nowhere in Scripture does it say souls can sin before they are placed in a body, only that Elohim is aware of the path that each person will travel before they do so. Construing that as "sin before birth" is ridiculous.

Actually, you are the one that is wrong, due to your Christian Pauline mindset.

The penalty in The Torah for Adultery is DEATH, not divorce. So pornea cannot mean Adultery.

You don't have a Torah mindset and so you don't understand The Messiah's words.

Might want to dig deeper into Scripture to see what you find

Elohim has anointed my mind

"Then He opened their minds, so that they could understand the Tanakh," (Luke 24:45 CJB)

Your leisure time is spent being publically humiliated and having your online reputation ruined, of course we're confused why you keep coming back. As for Marshall the only way he ought to be helping is via financial support but you've made it clear you don't give a rip about getting child support from any of your exes.

Have you considered that they probably stopped doing public stoning for adultery around the Messiah's time because they were occupied by the Romans and it would be wildly unpopular?

Have you considered that they probably stopped doing public stoning for adultery around the Messiah's time because they were occupied by the Romans and it would be wildly unpopular?

No, because it says in The Gospels they picked up stones to throw at Yahushua.

"At this, they picked up stones to throw at him; but Yeshua was hidden and left the Temple grounds." (John 8:59)

Also, the rules of The Torah don't change. Adultery is the death penalty.

As for Marshall the only way he ought to be helping is via financial support but you've made it clear you don't give a rip about getting child support from any of your exes.

No, I'm speaking about helping with his fair share of childcare responsibilities.

Anytime that formerly mentioned accusation is brought up, no mention of Marshall's responsibility to watch the children is ever brought up

Kiwi Farms was talking shit about me long before I showed up here. My presence here is irrelevant

This is a complete strawman. Jews reject the idea that Jesus is the messiah, not the concept of a messiah itself. Jews believe the messiah is yet to appear on this earth.

You just contradicted yourself.

You just admitted it yourself: "Jews believe the Messiah is yet to appear..."

Therefore, back to Point A: The concept of a Messiah (capital M), is a Jewish one. The Gospels are Jewish books. Authored by Jews, speaking to Jews.

No, because it says in The Gospels they picked up stones to throw at Yahushua.

"At this, they picked up stones to throw at him; but Yeshua was hidden and left the Temple grounds." (John 8:59)
And? Just because a mob got mad at the Messiah doesn't mean stoning was a legally sanctioned way of killing someone.

You have confirmation bias with your translation. I've explained how it doesn't work and you still cling to it because-- why? What precludes a man from divorcing his wife even if she ends up being stoned to death later?
No, I'm speaking about helping with his fair share of childcare responsibilities.

Anytime that formerly mentioned accusation is brought up, no mention of Marshall's responsibility to watch the children is ever brought up
I think you'll find that all of us here are quite glad Marshall isn't around the kids anymore given that he lost one permanently and one due to a strict custody agreement. He could use a vasectomy.
Kiwi Farms was talking shit about me long before I showed up here. My presence here is irrelevant
It really is not irrelevant. You've stopped posting before for weeks at a time especially ahead of your latest suit and the thread drops back to the fifth page for lack of activity.

As I've said before, it's only your presence that inflates the thread page count. You have no other social media to examine and could probably start something up and be left alone for quite a while if you didn't put a known alias on it. There's really no logical reason for you to be here except that you enjoy negative attention. You've said you were leaving before and then you continue to come back, so why are you surprised when we keep harping on you for coming back?

And if by this you mean Rabbinical Judaism, you're way off.

Elohim created souls with free will. The ability to choose right or wrong. These souls existed before getting a human body.

It's both. Allow me to elaborate and connect the dots.

All souls sinned before getting a human body because they chose to sin. All souls sinned in different degrees. Depending on the degree of sin before someone is born, they are either born as Goy (born Wicked) or born evil (can become Righteous and then TAMIYM).

All souls get a human body.

Once they get a human body they cannot be anything other than what they were born to be. The Wicked cannot repent. The evil souls can choose to repent or choose to stay in sin.

So yeah, in a way, The Wicked are predestined to (a).be born, (b) sin and then (c) destroyed, but it all goes back to their decision to sin before they were born.

How else can you explain Elohim's hatred of the Goyim? He commanded genocide of pregnant women in Goyim nations. What did those babies do?

"From the womb, The Wicked are estranged, liars on the wrong path since birth." (Ps. 58:3(4))
Based. I've never met a Mormon that was a Calvinist

Secular law doesn't change The Torah.

Adultery is the death penalty in The Torah. Period.

Just out of curiosity, since you're so righteous, here's a thought experiment. Would you be willing to break a secular law to uphold laws of the Torah? Not necessarily killing someone out of adultery, but something with less permanent consequences.
EDIT: Forgot to add, this was just to understand your personal belief system, no mocking here.

The search penalty in The Torah can only be done if the Judges or Judges in office (in The House of Israel) would permit it. In The Torah nobody can kill another human being without the permission of the Judges. Except with one exception: The Kinsman Avenger. If someone killed or raped your family member, you are allowed to Avenge them.

In order to live fully under The Torah I'd have to live in a country that has no secular law against these kind of things.
Right now, I live in the USA, so I can't.

I follow the laws of the USA so I don't go to jail.

Hypothetically, I would only break an American law if it stood in the way of me giving birth on my own terms. Like if what illegal for a midwife to attend my birth because I lived in a state that didn't license midwives, I might sneak the midwife in to help me.

Also, if I needed food to eat but didn't have a fishing license I would still fish because the food was given to all by Elohim. Then maybe pay for a license later when I could afford it.

Otherwise, I can't think of any scenarios where I might be pressed to break a secular law in order to live out my religious beliefs.

Your definition of exegesis is to take one passage that would support your conclusion if turned on its head, then turn it on its head and shake it like a snow globe until your desired result falls out.

Israel was occupied by the Romans and also subject to Roman law.
