Once again, you're so eager to be the oppressed victim. You're being made fun of for being an attention seeking exceptional individual, not being banished to the untouchable caste by a monolithic society.
You go out of your way to harass and stalk people who are less well off than you, in most cases. That's a reasonable reason for someone like me, who works with disenfranchised people, to get angry.

Throwing around VICTIM COMPLEX and ATTENTION SEEKER doesn't change that basic fact.

Welcome to random.txt.

Can you answer my question for me? Why do you feel it's okay to mock CWC for the things he says but not mock you for the things you say?

I've already addressed this. I don't think it's okay to straight up harass CWC. I also don't think you should be calling CWC he, though I haven't been following that as closely as I used to.

I think it's fine to look at Sonichu and the like and think it's funny. Chris is a colourful individual and it can be hard not to be taken in by her escapades, but there's a big difference between that and doing what people are doing to me and others on this forum, documenting people in a derogatory fashion. There are boundaries here. People don't seem to have a concept of them, and I don't know how to explain them.

EDIT: Whoops, did it myself. My bad. Still not fully used to it or sure what to think, but erring on side of respect where I can.

I worked at a homeless shelter. Most of our clients were alcoholics, drug addicts, and mentally ill. There was also a VERY high population of LGBT people, including a lot of kids who had been kicked out of their homes by their parents after coming out.

So yeah, I know about disenfranchised people. I'm also not a spergy gaylord, so I know that posting about them on Tumbly and getting upset on a lolcow forum does nothing to help them. It's just attention seeking behavior.

You have no idea who we are other than what we've posted here. In fact, some of us are just as well of as the people we're mocking. Sometimes those mocked are much more well-off.

This is more proof that you fabricate what you don't know in order to sound intelligent, like you have all the answers, when in reality you come off as a self-centered over-generalizing know-it-all. That is why we're "harrassing" you.

I thought you supported free speech? Do you or do you not?

... but they're entirely accurate. And few of you are near as vulnerable as the people you're targeting too. You are abusive, hateful people who are feeding off people you perceive as socially weaker. You're much more likely to go after vulnerable targets like Chloe than take down the big dogs. Where you do take on higher profile targets, it's where there are higher profile hate campaigns agianst them, so it balances out. Nobody is brave here.

I know, because I've been there. I've been pushed to the brink of suicide many times.

It's not about being "selfish". It's when you feel like you have no escape, when you feel like you're completely alienated by society and the abuse won't stop. With singular instances of abuse, you can work past them. But when you don't know when a community you're a part of will suddenly turn against you because someone d0xes you it's fucking frightening.

I have a life outside of the internet, but a lot of vulnerable trans women and people with social anxiety or autism don't. They don't get the help they need. And on top of that, have to put up with you guys. If you employed any level of empathy you'd see why people targeted by online hate campaigns(like i have been in the past) get pusehd to the point of suicide. It can be a very bleak and hopeless place to be in when you're already marginalised in real life on top of that.

You sound stressed. You should have sex more.

So why then is it not okay for us to look at the things you say and mock them? You're a colorful individual too.

Honestly I think western discussions of free speech/freedom of expression are disgusting becuase they almost always seem to revolve around the idea of using said "speech" to persecute others.

I think there should be freedom of expression overall but it doesn't mean people shouldn't be held morally responsible for abusing others.

But saying mean things on the internet is not abuse.

That's an interesting approach. What happens when someone is held "morally responsible" for abusing others?

You either support free speech or you don't. There is no "I believe in free speech, but...."
